Plerng Toranong – Ep 10 on 7/30/2011

Let’s get this show on the road everybody! Episode 10 reveals successful TV appearance for Plerng, more conflict between our four lovebirds (I’m completely discounting Lin because she’s just.. insignificant) which means awkward meals, jealous and longing scenes, nostalgic memories of each other but solidifies that Plerng and Numfon has some serious feelings for one another. Not to mention, Boot and kids attempt to take down Thai Diamond. Nonetheless this episode propels us forward, to what we’ve been waiting for tomorrow…

Plerng Toranong – Ep 9 on 7/29/2011

Friday is here and Plerng Toranong cannot come soon enough. The pace of this lakorn however, takes on a slow turn as we see blood and must mourn SomAng. Nut is on the run and his mom and sister is doing what they can to holler at everyone, but take no responsibility. We have Non, like a piece of meat on a platter, getting passed from Sita to Numfon and finally, we have Plerng on the set for his first appearance on TV, and things suddenly, become so very interesting.

Namcha Chiranat in Pim Mala

Namcha plays Namnuan, a young business woman who transforms herself from geek to pretty in order to spite the man who broke her heart. She is a sensitive person, idolizes Priew but he disappoints the perfect man image by being a player. I honestly don’t believe/follow the whole heart broken scene or the events that led up to it. But she studies abroad for two years and return a different woman- or at least she wants Priew and everyone else to think that she is a different woman. Deep down, I still see the girl who is a little too mousy, likes to play with her hair (twirls it around her fingers) and still in love with her senior. But instead, she is dating…

Plerng Toranong – Ep 8 on 7/24/2011

Company party, five people love story, Nut going psycho, all makes for episode 8. I yearned for more Plerng and Numfon scenes, which was sadly in short supply today. But I treasured every minute they have together. We do get to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Khao Yai’s blue skies and array of flowers.

Viva L’Amor is underway on episode 7 and there is excitement for the new jewelry, the concept, as well as the fashion show. The evening continues with Plerng and Sita inviting the models to adorn their jewelry. One by one they file in and Numfon appears last. Her hair is swept up and she is wearing a blue, green and purple dress that is tied at the neck and sweeps down. Plerng is mesmerized, he could not take his eyes off of her.

Plerng Toranong – Ep 6 on 7/22/2011

This lakorn gets better with each episode. Not only are we rewarded with more Plerng and Numfon scenes, we also get Mario’s million dollar smile! Several times too 🙂 I’ve attempted to do a play by play detail conversation between Plerng and Numfon. I can truly understand why subbing is so difficult and requires so much time. There are just certain things that you can’t literally translate (cultural, sayings etc.) I watched the TV version then waited for the youtube version so I can rewind and jot down what they say. It’s not pretty but it’s quick and it’s 3am! Good night ka, took kon (everyone). So episode 6 picked up where Nut sees Plerng at Numfon’s and he gets crazy jealous.

Ploy Chermane in Pim Mala

I think I’m in love with Ploy, in the non traditional variety. I’ve never seen her act this way, charming, funny, beautiful all rolled into one as she dominates episode two. We now know that Priew (Aum) has turned into Pim Mala (Ploy) and must obey Angel Rumpa’s orders or do as she bids in order to redeem himself, literally. We see that Pim Mala couldn’t accept it at first and constantly tries to turn herself into a man again. However, she discovers that her dad is in the hospital and she needed to make sure she can be herself again- that is, himself again for his father. (Trying to be gender correct is terribly difficult when we’re in this situation.)

Aum Atichart in Pim Mala

It feels like forever since I last seen Aum’s lakorn. His presence is dearly missed. Note to celebrities, try not to stay out of the lime light for too long, your fans can get distracted. Unless you’re Tik Jessadaporn, then you can be gone for three years and still come back with an award. Well, it’s not like Aum was gone that long, his latest lakorn was Koo Dued which is more brother drama than romance. I just miss his more romantic endeavors, like the last lakorn with Taew.
