Posted on June 26, 2013

Taking over our Wednesday-Thursday timeslot for channel 3 is Fah Krajang Dao, the conclusion to Sarm Taharn Suea Sao series, aka The Three Musketeers Series, starring Matt Peeranee and Boy Pakorn. In this premier episode, we follow Meekana’s life, what makes her tick and how she became a crime reporter for Siam Sarn. Much to her chagrin, she gets assigned to write a charity fashion show column where she meets Chief Police Inspector Heran, who becomes quite smitten with her. On top of that, she gets a new, young visitor in town whom she must take under her wing. Lots of changes and new additions for our heroine, let’s see how she handles them all.

Exploring the context of love: Khun Chai Ronnapee

John Lennon was onto something when he wrote, “All you need is love,” which ties in really well with the theme of love explored in this drama, Khun Chai Ronnapee, and that with love all things is possible. Along with the brooding, realistic tone from last weekend’s installment, the drama takes it up a notch by examining the fear, passion and love from within our characters, which offers depth to the story and solidifies the acting, directing and scriptwriting, I really could not ask for more, it’s completely my cup of tea, so hat’s off to Medtha Lae Mahaniyom.

Mon Jantra Episode 11 Final

lovefia

Posted on June 21, 2013

After all of the gunshots, explosions and car flips, we do get quite the cute ending. Waree will go down as being the most indecisive heroine, and Sama, well, he’s gotta be the sappiest, most sensitive mob leader ever, which is awesome. So go Sama! I hope this ending brings you much smiles and joy as we close out the first collaboration between the electric couple, Chakrit and Margie.

Mon Jantra Episode 10

Oh my dear heart, I don’t think it can handle seeing Sama’s tears. And I’m so sorry show, that I ever doubted that Sama wouldn’t learn, wouldn’t choose. He’s done it all, and yet the girl he loved couldn’t see past what she hates. Pfft. But there’s tremendous development (even if it appears we’re addressing the same issue) but each character is taking that next step towards the precipitance. I like. This episode is exciting yet emotional at the same time.

A letter to Khun Chai Ronnapee

lovefia

Posted on June 18, 2013

To my dearest Khun Chai Nong~ I hope this letter finds you well. I know you have been lonely. Being the last bachelor in the house, being the notorious rake and yet, being bested by your older brothers who seem more happier than ever with their soulmates. You must be nostalgic. Everything that you’re so sure about suddenly doesn’t make sense anymore. Like that singer bee who wants you for your title, your popularity and your immense palace. I know it didn’t used to bother you. Do you know why that is? I must break some bitter sweet news to you, my dear sweet, sweet younger brother, you have grown up. Congratulations.

Coming Soon: Fah Krajang Dao

lovefia

Posted on June 18, 2013

We are closing out the 3 Musketeers Series with Fah Krajang Dao, starring Matt Peeranee and Boy Pakorn as Meekana and Sarawat Heran respectively. The series started out sweet and romantic with Maya Tawan, then action packed with Mon Jantra, and now, we have a serious drama on our hands. This final story tackles the grave and challenging issues affronting society, especially prostitution and human trafficking, which mirrors our heroine’s childhood struggles. Her painful upbringing propels Meekana to pursue crime reporting within Siam Sarn, and she meets chief police inspector (Sarawat) Heran who is not only someone she runs into and works closely with, but this Sarawat rekindles those human emotions that Mee worked so hard to keep locked up. “A man like you…

lovefia

Posted on June 17, 2013

This fourth story of the Gentlemen Series gave us a funny and cute romantic story of Khun Chai Lek, a civil engineer who flees his marriage prospect in Bangkok to camp in Nong Khai, where he meets a group of Wieng Phu Kam refugees. He develops a bond with the compelling group and befriends (if a bizarre, funny friendship) with Soifah who saved his life. They marry, for her protection and convenience, and the two are tasked with the challenge of finding the missing crown prince so they can save the King and usurp their power in Wieng Phu Kam. Little did Soifah or even Chai Lek know that the missing prince and princess are right under their noses. Another challenge for the duo…

lovefia

Posted on June 17, 2013

Brought to us by Pordeecam Production team, Wun Nee Tee Ror Koy (The Day I’ve Been Waiting For) is a remake of Bird Thongchai’s lakorn 20 years prior. Headlining our Wednesday-Thursday timeslot from channel 7 is actor Om Akapan (as Prince Nanping Norathep and Jao San (Khun Chai Yai)) and Chat Pariyachat (as Marn Fah and Prali (Bri)). This is an action drama, based out of Kiriratnakorn, but also takes place in Hong Kong. The premise surrounds the events that led Prince Nanping Norathep to flee his country as a wee boy, and his journey to return back to the throne as a grown man. The Day I’ve Been Waiting For not only attests to that dream, but also pertains to a romantic enthrallment…
