It is a fast-paced lakorn following the story of Chittawan Phitsunawadee (Boy Pakorn) whom we first meet in prison. He’s been serving 11 years in jail for a crime he did not commit. Newly minted attorney Plaifon Tiyakul (Yeena Salas) is determined to reopen Tawan’s case, but she needs his permission first. Tension mounts in their first meeting as Plaifon makes her plea with Tawan. She remarks that her professor, who had been his attorney at the time, has been greatly disappointed by the verdict of the court since he believed wholeheartedly…

Nai Suan Kwan – First Impression

lovefia

Posted on January 6, 2014

Melodrama is the name of the game in this newest weekend installment, Nai Suan Kwan, which aired its premier episode this past Sunday. Headlining this new channel 3 lakorn is Boy Pakorn and Margie Rasri, produced by TV Scene. Two years and three lakorns respectively later, the pair ‘Bargie’, has reunited to bring more smiles to their shipping fans. And what’s better than to star in a romantic drama, all together with cutesy animal names and a story centering around family conflicts and.. a beautiful garden? The story opens with Peck-pook (Margie) driving her father to their newly acquired home. The cinematography is nothing shy of perfection, with clear and crisp HD quality, while the score hints of sadness that indicates even though this…

Fah Krajang Dao Finale (Episode 8 End)

lovefia

Posted on July 18, 2013

Wow, show, you know how to go out with a bang. The ending of Fah Krajang Dao and closure of Sarm Taharn Seau Sao series is so sweet; I think I may have developed some cavity(s). Mee and Heran may go down as having the best romantic dialogues ever- and just the way that they look at each other, or confess certain depths of their hearts- they can make our toes curl or smile like fools. The theme – human trafficking- gets its full arch and exploration in this lakorn, and brings awareness to society. It’s definitely not a black and white issue. It’s brave for TV scene to bring such difficult discussions to the table. So kudos. But the closure, oh the closure,…

Fah Krajang Dao Episode 6

lovefia

Posted on July 11, 2013

We take on a romantic resonance in this episode, where our patience and persistence pays off big time. In the relaxed and sparkling backdrop of the city, our Inspector and reporter come to an understanding of what their relationship will be like. The character and relationship development is done with such a wonderful, slow burn that I am swept up with the moment. And that settles the first half of our episode, while the second half brings Suntih and Mee eye to eye, and sets our story to overcome her next dangerous case, leading us to the final act of the story. Who wants popcorn? Or would you rather facial tissues?

Fah Krajang Dao Episode 5

lovefia

Things are suddenly getting interesting. We have severe turning points in the story, and our characters, namely Mee and Suntih go through a wonderful arc. A very sad, tear-jerking episode, but progressive and worthwhile nonetheless- and Sarawat Heran is the person behind it all. I’m glad I stuck around. He really is quite fabulous.

There is nothing like my readers who can make me feel a tad guilty. The more you tell me that you want to read it, the more I will feel inspired to write it, especially when I’m not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for this particular series. But feedback and comments always work on me. So there you have it, do enjoy the read 🙂
