It’s so nice to see Mark’s face again. It feels like it’s been awhile. I think the last lakorn that I’ve seen of his is Punyachon Gon Grua, one of the most adorable lakorns. Mark Prin isn’t the best actor out there, but when he’s on screen, there is something compelling about him. I’m sure it’s the charm and charisma, not to mention great choices in character selection. And when you can’t have a swoony hero, at least there’s the goofy ones – and Mark’s character – Kritthon is such a goofball. He makes me smile.

To make the wait a little more bearable for those obsessed with this lakorn as I am, I’ve created a reference guide to Once Upon a Time in My Heart. You know how literary fiction has a cliff note? We’ll consider this as our go-to reference guide, complete with the cast of characters, character analysis and any in depth discussion we will have about this lakorn. I don’t know if many of you are still tuning into this weekend sitcom, aka lakorn from OneHD, but Rak Fun Thalop has concluded its eighth, final episode this Saturday. Show presents two best friends – Priew and Risa – who embark on a road trip to nineteen temples in order to wash Risa of her bad luck and find a husband. They must accomplish this in two weeks, before their shared birthday, otherwise Risa risks living alone and atoning for her past sins forever. Along the way they offer a ride to a man named Peet, whom they found attractive because he’s backpacking to Doy Samur Dao in order to preserve the promise he made to his late girlfriend, and to start over.…

Happy Weekend Dear Readers! I’m still a little shocked that I wrote 5 recaps in a week’s time. That usually doesn’t happen, but you can thank Mick for that. What’s everyone’s plans this weekend? What lakorns are you watching/catching up with? Ruk Fun Thalop is supposed to end this weekend so I think I’ll watch the last three episodes that I’ve missed and weigh in my thoughts. I’m going to wait until Sai Lap Rak Puan ends (next week) so I can marathon it and do a final review.

How can you say no to this face? It’s another great episode, complete with war of hearts, sad realizations, and renewed wants. Someone once told me that you can have what you want, but not everything. Choices involve sacrifices because when you say yes to one thing, you have to say no to another. It sucks but it’s so true. Can our hero stick with his ideals and be with the girl? It’s something Daniel will explore throughout the show, but he gets confronted with that notion today. Best to do it with a glass of courage, and maybe a searing kiss to remember it by on a rainy day?

Pope Thanawat and Diana Flipo in a Period Lakorn Leuat Rak Torranong

The next Ch.3 weekend lineup – after Sai Lap Rak Puan ends – is Leuat Rak Torranong, a period drama. This is Diana Flipo’s first lakorn as a leading lady, if you recall, she was the second lead in Tarm Rak Keun Jai. The production team behind this is Maker J, Nok Jariya. It looks quite dramatic, but I did notice that some of the stills have cute romantic flare. It has been awhile since we’ve last seen the talented Pope! Well, at least on this blog anyway. If anyone is going to play Khunchai again, with the ability to tear your heart out with his devastated tears, it’s Pope Thanawat. So prepare your handkerchiefs for the weekends.

This is me giving Ch7 the side eye. The struggle is real when watching their lakorns. It’s like they don’t understand that when you have a crack show, the feasibility- heck, the AVAILABILITY – is of the utmost importance. It’s like a drug that you can’t get and it’s KILLING ME. All I can think is gimme gimme gimme. But thankfully, after many hours of searching and waiting and waiting.. I finally found a stream. I swear this show, it’s just not healthy for me. But on another note, I’m just excited to be excited about a show again. And I don’t care if I can’t survive the cuteness. Ep 4 full recaps completed ~Fia

Fahsai is presented with tough decisions, and questions whom she should trust. What is the lesser of the two evils: gang Suer Khao or gang Mungkorn Thong? Should she trust the tiger or the dragon? Whatever lair she opts for, it’s a nail biting watch. The gangsters on the other hand try their darnest not to involve their little fish, but when it means it could give them an advantage over the other, one of the gangsters take the bait. And perhaps that is all the answer Fahsai needs in order to decide who she’s going to make her bed with. Figuratively speaking of course. But one thing is clear, I’m such a goner for this show.
