Happy Weekend Dear Readers! I’m still a little shocked that I wrote 5 recaps in a week’s time. That usually doesn’t happen, but you can thank Mick for that. What’s everyone’s plans this weekend? What lakorns are you watching/catching up with? Ruk Fun Thalop is supposed to end this weekend so I think I’ll watch the last three episodes that I’ve missed and weigh in my thoughts. I’m going to wait until Sai Lap Rak Puan ends (next week) so I can marathon it and do a final review.
BUT I do have some fun things that is not blog related! Yes indeed, have to enjoy life too. Mr.A and I are going on a date night this Saturday! It’s been awhile but I’m looking forward to getting a little tipsy! Wheee!

Have fun on your date night. We are heading to the Bahamas for a little summer fun before school starts.
You win! Bahamas sound amazing! I’ve been itching to travel, but taking an active toddler anywhere that requires hours in an airplane just doesn’t sound like a vacation.
Thank you so much for the recaps. I haven’t watch Thai lakorns in the last couple years. Nothing interested me. I have been watching Korean and Chinese’s dramas from here and there. Some how Once Upon a Time in My Heart captivates me. This is totally different from any of Thai lakorns I had watched in the past. It has real kisses, lip to lip. I will probably cath-up with all the episodes of Once Upon a time in my heart raw without subbing. Probably re-read your recaps of this lakorn. Taking my kids to back-school shopping. Try to catch some Olympic games, love swimming, track&field, & diving. Have a wonderful date night with your husband.
Mr.A is obsessed with the Olympics, he mentioned that his dream would be to just take vacation during the Olympics and binge watch on the couch. That is why we are good together, lol, TV feigns. He watches the Olympics, while I blog (and squeal and hyperventilate and then swoon), thank goodness I’m in my home office and he doesn’t have to give me the side eye. Don’t get me wrong, there are moments I’ll watch lakorns in the living room and he just smiles during my crazy moments. Comes with the territory when you marry a lakorn addict. I might have written it in my vows.
Enjoy back to school shopping! That’s one of my favorite things to do when I was little. But being the parent now, I don’t think I’m looking forward to shelling out that much money for school supplies. Like really, you need 15 boxes of crayons?!
Regarding OUATIMY – I find it compelling for many reasons, and I’ll probably write a novel if I get into the why’s (we’ll save that for a review later) but it hits me in all the right places. That is why this show is simply not healthy for me.
Love your caps this week! SO ADDICTED to OUATIMH, I find myself squealing and grinning like an idiot, ignoring all other aspects of my non-lakorn life. I’ve picked up Mick’s other lakorns, Talay Fai. I had planned to marathon through the weekend but family obligations call as they are in town this week and we are doing all the lovely Seattle tourist activities. Enjoy your date night and thanks for the recaps!
I love playing tourist in my own city! Have fun and eat yummy food!
Celebrating my sister dirty 30 this week And trying to catch up on Naree rissaya.
So fun! Happy Birthday to your sis! 30 feels so long ago for me… Have a great time 🙂
Fia , have fun on your date night and be as wild as you can , just remember : it legal as long as you don’t get caught , a little jealous that people could get tipsy , I’m allergic to alcohol can’t drink at all , so I try to compensated by doing crazy while sober , I know I’m succeeded when we go out and people would point at me and ask my friends “wow , how much did she drink ?” “uh , half a glass of water” tomorrow it would feel like 110 here , happy baking everybody
Sorry to hear about your allergies, I would die. It was hard enough not to drink alcohol for 10 months.
You don’t need alcohol because you have a natural high! Lol.
Hello Fia,
It is going to be extremely hot and misery in NY this weekend. I’ll probably stay in doors and catch up on some Lakorns, Korean dramas and other shows.
Enjoy your date with your husband. Have a happy and healthy weekend everyone.
Dimples2119, You and I have the same plans my friend! 🙂 & Fia, I would advise you not to travel with a toddler, unless its necessary. It’s so frustrating, and then seeing them frustrated & uncomfortable, it makes it worse.
Thanks for the recap! I don’t want to watch this yet cus I know I’ll be hook. Mik is so handsome in this one so I’ll wait for more episodes to release or close to the end. I’m currently watching Naree Rissiya right now and kinda sad it’s ending. It’s a really good lakorn to watch.
Hm I’ve been hearing that NR is really good, I may check it out when things slow down. Have a great weekend!
Guess you can’t miss what you don’t know , still remember the first time I found out I’m allergic to alcohol when I was 16 , don’t ask me how I found out ( the official story is I fell , slip and accidentally swallow some alcohol at a get together to study place ) I remember laying there on the hospital bed in disbelief when the doc say I’m allergic to alcohol , I mean I hear people allergic to peanut , egg , seafood and stuff but alcohol ??? are you kidding me ? he smile and said “yes, it rare but it happened” ( am I lucky or what ) then when I saw my mom standing there next to him I was thinking “is she put him up to this , told him to tell me that so I would not drink ?” so a couple of month pass , just to be on the safe side I try again in case he was just saying that , another emergency room visit later I realize “nope , he not just saying that” and my mom was like “again ? really ? again ?” and here I am so looking forward to when my future kids ask me the question of “mommy , where do I come from ?” I would gently explain to them that “well , it was a Friday night and I was drunk ………………….. what do you mean why you don’t look like your father ? all Asian look the same don’t you know that ?”
Hahaha. But your future child couldn’t have been conceived if you had to be wheeled to the ER though, maybe it belongs to the dr? And you’ll have to reveal the child’s birth secret – but then the child already knows because he found out one fateful day, yet was hoping to confront you with the truth once he has become someone you’re proud of (like a dr)! WAIT – that’s a plot from uncontrollably fond (only switch out the dr profession with that of a prosecutor). keke.
But like you said, you’re making up for your alcohol allergies with a fun attitude but without the hangover. Sounds like a win to me!
have a great date night with Mr. A, I love traveling my next would be budapest and italy, also reading books and of course watching asian dramas
I have not been to either of those countries, sounds fantastic! What are you reading? I do wish I have more time to read, my list is growing.
action thrilling books with historic backgrounds always seems to bring interest to me!!!like dan brown inferno and chris kuzneski’s the hunters and I like love stories right now I am reading me before you
I really wanted to see me before you, but waiting for it to come out on dvd. Books tend to be better than movies, but I have an hour to spare for movies but not so much books. It’s a sad state of affairs.
Me too, haven’t seen it yet also waiting for the dvd, you have so much on your plate that is understandable, and I know if you do have the time you use it to more important things.
You guys, it’s 88 degrees here. For those in the hotter weathers, do stay hydrated!
hi fia,
hope your date night went great.
You are a great lakorn source for me fia. I love reading your recaps.
And hopefully cam will allow you some time to do so. on another note though, I would like to make a request to you and all other readers. I love lakorn but finding subs is near impossible also, sometimes projects get dropped in the middle and you are nearly killed due to curiosity as to what happens. recently, after waiting in vain for praao subs I took things into my own hands looked around for spoiler comments and reviews and then watched the raw episodes. Surprisingly as I knew the general outline and could understand a bit of thai I understood the series and enjoyed it.
Due to your recommendation, I picked up mue prab sai diew but it doesn’t look like it will get subbed so if someone takes pity on me and gives some general outline I would be very grateful. Even a few sentences would be highly appreciated as it is a cop drama.
P.s. sorry for doing this in the open thread.
P.P.s. could some kind soul please tell a bit about pure turn too it has also been dropped 🙁
p.s. sorry for posting twice. Due to some glitch I thought I lost my comment and typed it again .
No worries, I’m going to copy this comment to the request page so we can keep better tabs on what’s been requested 🙂 Muer Prab Sai Diew is a very long evening lakorn it seems. When you say outline, what do you mean? My reaction post does speak to the basic synnopsis. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks a lot fia.
Ahh by outline I would maybe like a more spoiler one. Like giving the barebones of what the bad guys are doing and who they are. So that I can keep some track. Hehehe. Your reaction post was awesome it drew me to the lakorn like a moth to fire if possible could you make a part 2 in a similar vein about the rest of the episodes released after your post. That would be more than sufficient and highly appreciated.
Love,
Naimisha
Hi there! At this time I am not able to take this on, I hope fellow lakorn fans who has seen this to its completion could further assist you. Thanks again for the request!
Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply fia.
fingers crossed that someone will have sympathy. Hehehe
Another comment I got a reply to 2 years later kekeke
I meant more spoilers ones like who the bad guys are and what they are doing maybe like a mini summary of 10 to 15 lines about bunch of episodes or like 2 to 3 liners for each episode like a description
P.s. I did muddle through it raw though 😉
