The drama stakes are high in this episode. A logical doctor realizes his feelings cannot be controlled, and slowly loses his cool. But our headstrong heroine refuses to give an inch – not even when it damages her reputation. What happens when different principles are challenged and the elephant in the room is being ignored? For the sake of the marriage that is not even a marriage, someone bring me a pint size glass of wine!
One great thing about marriage of convenience or fake marriage plot is that the couple tries to make it believable to everyone else’s eyes, which in turn makes for light hearted laughter and cute moments. We have those in spades in today’s episode. More importantly, feelings are starting to develop even though they find a million reasons why they shouldn’t. But a million reasons don’t matter, when you have one that do.
What a beautifully shot episode. But the million dollar question today is, will they or will they not get married? Let’s see how the bride and groom to-be handle the events leading up to the special day. It’s tumultuous, insane and exciting as we make our way to the wedding. But it’s the final scenes of this episode that will get you happily squirming and cheering.
The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived! Will the set up for five episodes and the reveal at the end of this episode get as riveting as we had hoped? You can be the judge of that. Who can Anusaniya trust in this world? Will Chayakorn realize the errors of his way? Will Satawat save Anusaniya from her uncle? It’s a whirlwind in this episode, and sometimes less is more.
What a great episode – so much development on the character and relationship front. Matchmaking goes in full swing, and only one of the aunties may actually win, but not in the way that she had hoped. We see a budding understanding but also a dissipation of what was. Things change and will our heroine survive this newest revelation? Let me grab a cold one and get this episode on the road.
Everyone seems to know that uncle is in love with niece, except well maybe the niece herself. Anusaniya has to answer to her drastic measures when it comes to getting her money back, while Dr. Satawat works ten times harder to pay it back. Mom certainly knows how they can remedy this and she gets to work with Aunt Nan. But getting two very difficult people together requires some serious creativity.
Who run the world? Girls.
Channel 3’s new primetime lakorn premiered today taking over the Wednesday-Thursday timeslot, and does not waste a moment in their storytelling. Piang Chai Kon Nee Mai Chai Poo Wiset (which translates as ‘Just a Man, Not a Magician’) seems poised to be a show with a lot of dramatic impact. I like the pairing already and smiled quite a bit during their confrontations. It’s a romantic story that I want to see unfold. But first, let’s see if I remember how to do this.
Get ready boys and girls, Piang Chai Kon Nee Mai Chai Poo Wiset (When A Man Loves A Woman) will be airing on Channel 3 this coming Thursday, April 21st. Headlining this prime time lakorn are James Ma and Kimberly Voltemas, pairing for the first time through Anne Thongprasom’s production. A hot pairing to be sure, but more importantly, this lakorn appears to have all of the makings of an intense, engrossing drama.
Yes please. Finally. It’s been SO long since we got to see the adorable James Ma. If you are a fan you would not easily forget his portrayal of Khun Chai Ronnapee, nor forget his penchant to march into dangerous waters and singlehandedly kick some ass. No one does action scenes like James Ma, nor look as good while doing it. Like a true action hero, he ignores the camera angles and just gets things done. Perhaps we credit the director. Perhaps it’s James Ma. I for one cannot conjure another name.
