Prom Likit – Episode 3 – First Encounter

lovefia

Posted on October 25, 2023

Forget meet cute, we have meet funny. Puttarn’s landing in Ayutthaya era was not the smoothest, a beam of light through the Krishna Kali relic takes her 300 years back, facing a man who thinks she is a ghost and sends her flying with a kick. LOL. I am sorry, that was not very gentlemanly of Phor Rid, but he was frightened out of his wits, first he saw a beam of light pointing to something buried underneath, and as he pulled out the treasure, a woman-ghost tried to snatch his family relic. Besides, she talked different and was very forward with her approach, like grabbing his arm, which one never does with a man who is neither her kin nor her husband. Phor…

Prom Likit – Episode 2 – Look who’s back

lovefia

Posted on October 19, 2023

She’s back….who knew we would miss the original Karaked, with her lip curled in disdain. Goosebumps and chills, as Karaked appears in present time, much like the first time with Kadesurang. It’s raining and dark, she’s watching a car pass by. But this time, instead of appearing before the car and causing a wreck, Karaked just looks sadly at it, at the little girl in the car. We know her to be Phuttan, Kadesurang’s distant relative. The car met the same fate as the last time, with Karaked getting reborn as Phuttan, much like Kadesurang getting reborn as Karaked.

Prom Likit (Love Destiny 2) is Finally Here

lovefia

Posted on October 18, 2023

Episode one feels like a gift/warm hug to the long awaited Buppaesaniwas fans, as we reunite with our favorite Ayutthaya household in Prom Likit. The time traveling history buff that is Karaked, her foreign ministry official husband, Dech, and the vast quarters of servants who do not bat an eye at their mistress’ beguiling ways. The opening scene pans to what makes this show charming in the first place, we are transported to Ayutthaya era, the soft dewy morning, the quiet night lit up by soft flame. Buppaesaniwas did it so well, and Prom Likit, its sequel, is equally stunning in its authenticity.

The Inspiration Behind Buppaesaniwas 2 – Love Destiny The Movie

lovefia

Posted on June 30, 2022

In a recent press conference for Love Destiny The Movie, out in theaters July 28th, the producers and director share their inspiration on how this movie came about. After Buppaesaniwas wrapped up beautifully in 2018, one of the producers for this film didn’t want it to end (same girl same) and it was such a hot topic that quite literally everyone around her couldn’t get enough of it. But ultimately the sentence that inspired the movie came from the author herself (Rompaeng), in that, P’Muen (ML) and Karakade (FL) are the destined soulmates and will meet and love each other in every lifetime. This premise has such potential retelling of another lifetime where they meet as different people and in different time periods, but…

Favorite Scene in Kharm See Than Dorn

lovefia

Posted on June 29, 2018

Is someone cutting onions in here? There is a particular scene in Kharm See Than Dorn that will be hard to beat throughout the rest of the show, for me it will go down as one of the scenes that I will remember this show by. As a side note, this show does get bogged down with different (irrelevant) side storylines, and if you’re not going to watch this show for that reason, this particular scene sums up the goal of the story.

Kharm See Than Dorn – First Impressions

lovefia

Posted on June 21, 2018

Oh Pope. He wants to make us cry, doesn’t he? The opening of the show takes us into his character’s (Tiangwan) predicament perfectly: he’s standing on top of crashing waves of an ocean in South Africa, thinking back on his substance addiction days, the lowest of low in his life. It looked bad; he must have relapsed into addiction after promising never to do it again, and his girlfriend caught him. She broke up with him that day, and in a state of paranoia and under the drug’s influence – he envisioned cops chasing him – Tiangwan drives right into a little boy. His face gets blasted all over media outlets, but thankfully the boy survived and Tiangwan must have gotten admitted into rehab.…

Upcoming Watch – Game Sanaeha, Kharm See Tan Don, Montra Lai Hong (My Hero #2)

lovefia

Posted on June 10, 2018

I know we’re not ready to say goodbye to our current action lakorn lineup Likit Rak and Neung Dao Fah Diew, though thankfully we have a few more episodes left to indulge ourselves, while Matupoom Haeng Huajai ended today. However, the lakorn horizon is getting serious and we should be prepared for that, and I am here if you need me.

Destiny Will Bring Us Back Together

lovefia

Posted on April 14, 2018

There is something startlingly magical about this lakorn, Buppae Sanniwas. It has left its imprint in my heart, one that has taken residence and will refuse to budge. I can’t remember a lakorn that is just pitch perfect from start to finish. A lakorn that I barely knew what to make of for starters, but has surprisingly and consistently nailing it in every episode thereafter, then closing out the finale with no less finesse than its opening.

For the Love of Buppae Sanniwas

lovefia

Posted on April 5, 2018

Wow you guys, this episode 14. It’s another level, really. If you’re going to watch any lakorns this year – heck – if you’re going to watch any lakorns ever, do watch this. Just trust us crazy, bug bitten, fever ridden, fans of Buppae Sanniwas! I mean, have you guys seen me this hyped up about a lakorn before? Ok don’t answer that, I know I get pretty excited over some lakorns in the past. But I don’t believe I have loved, crushed, or obsessed this badly about both the hero and heroine. This is one of those shows where it keeps you wanting more, craving more, and falling in love with every cast of characters. They’re all really well written and it’s hard…

Buppae Sunniwas – Episode 13 – Losing our collective minds

lovefia

Posted on April 4, 2018

Hello? Is everyone still breathing after watching this episode? It’s a double whammy kind of day. Just when we think that the biggest part of this episode is that Phor Daed returns home from Paris- that 44 minutes he was gone, he was dearly missed – we are in for a rude awakening. It’s like show is telling us that we’re getting way too comfortable adjusting to Ayutthaya lifestyle and swooning over our Ayutthaya man, that our life requires some shaking up. I’m a mixed of shaken, jarring and all encompassing stupefied, for the lack of a better word. Not to mention, my eyes are still swollen! I definitely did not see this coming..
