No one would mistake me for a psychic, but I honestly didn’t see this coming. I’ve eaten a lot of crows in my life thus far- hypothetically speaking, and not always afraid to admit it- but the reconciliation in episode 11 of Miracle of Love between Paat and Nammon came from the left field. But I’m ecstatic that they reconciled. Such is the story between me and lakorns, it’s a love and hate relationship. Yet at the end of the day, much like today, it is very much looove that overrules.
The episode started with Nammon; feeling remorse at being the one responsible for getting Panom fired, got Panom’s address from Professor Dao-Reurng and went in search for Panom at her mom’s home. Concerned that Nammon may discover that Panom is actually not Panom, Paat followed her. He tried to deter her every chance he got, but only caused more suspicions from Nammon. Finally, they found out that the ‘Panom’ and family have already moved out. Before she could find out what Panom is up to, Paat convinced Nammon to cease her curiosity in case she upset him. He teased her until she conceded.

I was still on Evil Game Love Game high and to watch Miracle of Love yesterday was like someone waking me up from a good dream. ‘Unnecessary angst and drama’ would be a good description for Ep.10.
But sometimes we have to take a step back and look at the big picture, the goal of the drama I suppose.
From this episode, Paat and Nammon’s relationship- or lack thereof- has gone even further down the steep hill. However, this experience of being responsible for Panom’s termination from work should teach Nammon a little lesson about friendship and unrequited love. What is more important? What is worth fighting for? I included a clip with Nammon and her mom talking, thought it was a good lesson for Nammon. Her getting Panom fired was a surprise, to say the least.

Just when I had to remind myself that I’m watching a Thai lakorn and was prepared to throw in the towels, I got reeled back in. What a wonderful cap to this weekend’s episodes of Evil Game Love Game.
Charles is getting quite pissed off that Fahlada is getting closer to Dr. Wattana, playing doctor while he’s sick and spending a night there. Charles decided to up his game and to show the good doctor as well as the entire male population that Fahlada is his.
The whole company is preparing for the opening ceremony to reveal this year’s presenter for Seven Seas, and Charles decided to change the runway program- instead of having Fahlada walk alone, he wanted to walk with her- it would be cohesive with the theme and presentation that they’ve prepared. As they practice their walk, they needed to act like a loving couple (as in the commercial they shot) so Charles hugged her from behind, which garnered more squeals from yours truly.

How are you guys holding up so far with Evil Game Love Game? Anyone burst an artery while watching episodes 13, 14 and the preview for episode 15?
It is such a tease to watch Charles and Fahlada together- hoping for some progress in their relationship- but only to be sadly smacked with the backlashes of it. They have a lot of aggressive scenes together, where they’re in each other’s face, grinding their teeth with anger and causing even more misunderstanding and hatred for one another.
I know I’m not supposed to feel sorry for Charles, I mean, he’s the one carrying out his evil games with Fahlada. But I can’t help it. No matter his bullying, intimidation and threats towards her, he ends up hurting himself the most. It’s really quite depressing. It is like punishing a child who doesn’t know what they did wrong and you end up with the stinging hand and the child hating you.

According to Godninja’s epic fan listing for GRGR, would you choose Charles Angel or Nangfah kong Saichon? A man who is playing evil games or a man playing love games? Light or dark? Black or white? Unfortunately choosing sides for this particular pr’ek who is becoming more bipolar by the minute is no easy task.
A comment made by Fun on that particular thread left an impression on me, “My pick will be Saichon because that is who he really is in the end of the day.” Which is so astute.
But as much as I feel for Saichon, and as much as deep down that is who he really is, I feel more for the person he has become- a man who is so hurt, so desperate, and so in need of love. Despite how evil or mean or hurtful he can be, ultimately he just wants to be gathered in Fahlada’s arms again. And ultimately I’m rooting for him to win his wife back, because only until then, will we see all of Saichon again.
If you’re a fan of GRGR, be sure to show your support at LakornGods fan listing.

In this episode we have Panom’s meager attempt to console Nammon, but failed again due to her lack of courage. Panom tried to tell Nammon that her and Paat are only friends, but when Nammon asked her if Paat lied to her about them then- Panom couldn’t answer- she told Nammon to ask Paat instead. When asked how much longer she is going to continue to lie to Nammon, again Panom had no answer. So like anyone who is fed up with lies, Nammon walked away.
That night Panom’s second attempt appeared with a glass of milk as a truce? Not likely, as she tried to come up with an explanation, the door was slowly shut in her face, causing her to stalk back to her room, out of ideas to reconcile. Once back to her room, a thought flitted through her mind about telling Nammon the truth, but it went away just as quickly as it came. Instead, Panom/Nichamon thought about the stranger who helped her in Sydney. Holding his scarf in her hands, she found him to be quite similar to Khun Chai Thut, but soon shook the thought away, because really, it couldn’t be..

The premise in episode 8 surrounds Nichamon trying to stop Khun ChaiThut from selling her grandfather’s house.
As a background, Khun ChaiThut bought the house from Chote Chutiman in hopes of holding on to the house for the older man’s kin. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Trying to win over the Sornalais’ and keeping Pongthep (and his father’s) influence out of the project, Khun Chai decided to sell the house for collateral. He needed the money so Pongthep’s father can keep his fingers out of the project. He’s torn about this decision but ultimately the need to win and ruin the Sornalai triumphed.
It turns out however, that Pongthep wants to buy the house. And immediately, Khun Chai declines the offer, instead looked to another buyer who’s ruthless reputation will most likely turn every inch of the farm into condos.
But throughout this episode, Khun Chai is like a teeter totter, going back and forth between accepting and rejecting the buyer’s offer. Finally, as he agreed to sell the house, Nichamon came up with a great idea to stop him.

As I tweeted earlier.. the heartbreak of first love, young love, is the saddest to watch.
It seems that in this episode, Thut and Nichamon’s relationship improved, whereas Paat and Nammon’s relationship continue steadily, down a declining slope.
As per usual, I will have a combined summary and speculation (ep 8-9) of Paat-Nammon’s relationship after tomorrow’s episode. Stay tune =)
FYI preview for tomorrow is the same as last week’s.
