Nang Ay

lovefia

Posted on September 27, 2016

Apiradee Anothai, or Nang (Nycha Nuttanicha), is a seventeen year old girl and life was pretty great, she has her iPhone and social media accounts, she has her biker friends, and knows that she can handle anything that comes her way. It’s the 21st century teenage confidence, if you will. But one day, she was caught in the wrong place and at the wrong time, the paparazzi splatters her image on the front page smearing her dad’s name (he’s a minister of state) that she was fighting over a man. She tries to defend herself to dad – because why shouldn’t he trust his seventeen year old daughter? – but no matter what she says, she just comes off being rude and disrespectful. So dad…

Happy weekend everybody. This week went by fast, it’s Friday and it’s mid September! NY visited NY for Coach and fashion week, it was interesting to see Yaya in head to toe Coach on my Coach feed. This was an instance where real world and lakorn world came together, it was a doozy. Lakorn wise, I was really bored. Nothing has captured my attention yet, so I am still sifting through random things and new shows. How was your week? What are your plans for this weekend? I’m taking little man to a toddler’s gym, should be interesting, he’s part monkey so I’m sure he’ll enjoy it. Other than that, I think we’ll relax (if that is even a word for this kid).

Meet the Characters in Duang Jai Pisut

lovefia

Posted on September 15, 2016

Well hello. I know I was debating earlier whether I’ll tune into Duang Jai Pisut (which premiered today), but when you don’t have anything else to watch and you’re bored as heck, beggars can’t be choosers. I figure, at least check out the first episode.

What are you watching?

lovefia

Posted on September 13, 2016

I’m still going through some withdrawals from Once Upon a Time, and struggling to find something, anything that can captivate me to that extent. I guess a better way to put this is: I’m bored. So bored. So entertain me. What are you watching? Am I missing out on anything? There are a slew of new lakorns cropping up shortly, like Narkee, Duang Jai Pisut and even Nang Ay, so I guess there’s that lineup to look forward to. Sadly, I’m not jumping up and down. Do I need to go find a new hobby?! Say it ain’t so. I really liked my spot on my favorite chair and in front of my computer, being lazy. Wait no, that’s being productive, sharing my thoughts with fellow…

Rang Chung and the Drama

lovefia

Posted on September 12, 2016

So. Rang Chung is here, a historical lakorn that is heavy on the melo. It’s only forty-minutes long per episode so I figure I’d give it a shot just to see Taya again. She will always be known to me as Prissana, and that is never a bad thing. In this lakorn, Taya dons traditional attire and she stars alongside Kan Kantathavorn. I think the acting is natural and the two have an easy chemistry together. When Taya flashes her dimpled smile, you might need a moment to re-orient yourself. But story wise, it’s heavy stuff. If you’re into melos and high drama, this one might be for you. I’m just here to report my first look at this and then backtrack to my…

Son Yuke and Yam Matira in Duang Jai Pisut

lovefia

Posted on September 8, 2016

I’m still debating on whether I’ll tune in. The teaser posters are so adorable and these two make a great pair, but the storyline. Oh the storyline, I don’t know if I can watch child abuse without popping a blood vessel. I don’t know if my heart could literally take it.

Once Upon a Time in My Heart – Episode 12 Final

lovefia

Posted on September 7, 2016

We’re here at the finale whether we like it or not. Once Upon a Time in My Heart wraps up its gangster drama much in line with the action you’d expect, all out brawls that bring characters together. Some characters turn over a new leaf while other characters fall back in their old ways, but one question remains, can Show cut out two episodes and still make it a compelling finale? Let’s find out.
