Do you have an idea, a fantasy, a dream for Mario and Taew’s next endeavor (or perhaps a sequel to PT) that you would like to share with fellow fans? Feel free to share them here! Go crazy! I am curious to find out just what you’ve got cooked up.

i don’t really have a plot but i guess the next drama that they would have would have more romantic or cute scenes between the scenes.
Hi @ Monica! More sweet scenes together- wouldn’t that be most appreciated?! After their amazing chemistry together, we can only hope for more toe curling moments. Thanks for leaving a mark!
@ Everyone
An idea..so for their next drama, how about they reverse character personality? Taew can be a rational, sweet and still beautiful person. Mario can still be our hero- just in a different way. As Plerng, he has a can-do attitude but is so tight lipped. What if his new character is more of a type A male? A little aggressive, speaks his mind.. but has never been in love. And of course, reasonable within his bounds. When he meets the woman that will change his perspective about love, how will he react? Go after her of course! But we must have conflict too.. and character flaw.
Anyone else want to chime in?
Do you think Mario can pull this off?
Hi Fia! I missed watching Plerng recaps so much, now I feel so bored again that I have nothing to watch nor see new sights in the drama!
I was thinking of their new life in Ranong. Have you ever guys thought that Lin is in Ranong too and when she sees everything, I’m thinking it’s either she will learn to accept it like Sita did, or she will turn into a villain for part II!!!
And so let’s begin Plerng Toranong Part II!! Let’s if this fan fic turns out to be a reality when Part II comes! BTW may I ask if you fortunate ones in Thailand have heard any updates about Part II because in our local Filipino paper, there was an interview of Mario and it said that Plerng Toranong shooting for next year has already been booked?
Okay on to the story! Numfon is having a difficult time adjusting to a simple life as a fisherman. But she is deeply in love with Plerng and Plerng was always there to catch her when she falls, to guide her when she needs guidance. This is where more Plerng and Numfon scenes come in!! Though deep in love the couple are still very stubborn and fight each other.
Numfon stays at home to cook Plerng’s fresh catch from the sea. One day while she was at the market, Lin sees her and starts a fight. Lin discovers that Plerng had come back to Ranong and the two had been married. Everything rushes back in, but she tries to fight her feelings.
Plerng recieves a phone call that changes everything. Grandma had a heart attack and is in critical condition at the hospital. Plerng and Numfon rush to Bangkok to see her but they were too late.
Plerng, in his blue polo, had a dejavu of what happened the first time he set foot on the hospital. He said goodbye to his father’s heart and to grandma.
Little did he know that grandma left a great fortune and share of the company for him and Numfon. Plerng adamantly refuses what was in store for him and is willing to give away everything to Non, Root and Nari. Lin was also there at the funeral, and then she sees Plerng. Everything is getting topsy turvy again for our hero! And that ends Plerng Toranong II episode 1!!
Hi! Nice suggestion Fia.. and Marioholic, yeah.. it would be interesting to see how our ball-busting city girl would cope with life in a sky-blue fisherman’s shed in a place where the center of action is in Lin’s dad’s wet market! hahah… I’ll post my idea in a bit.. gotta take care of life’s demands first.. LOL
Good evening! After a birthday party last night that ended in the wee hours.. a massage and some shopping was much needed ๐ Sorry for the late response guys!
@Marioholic- I’ve been looking to you for Mario news ๐ I haven’t heard about a sequel yet.. but how exciting is the prospect of one?! Ooh, and I also like your idea about Plerng-Numfon living in Ranong. How about.. Lin has changed and decided to better herself. Plerng sees that and admires her for it. After all, he still considers her as his sister. However, Numfon’s insecurities are tripled and she gets jealous of their close relationship. Are you really going to kill off grandma? Wah… I sort of like the old girl.
@Brushpicks- this was totally your idea! I just created a new post.. can’t wait to hear what you’ve got in store for us!
i could totally go for that idea of yours Fia, with Taew as a prim and proper lady meeting this gentleman who isn’t afraid to step out of bounds and who pursues her with every ounce of his lady-killer smiles and bold flirty moves! He could totally pull it off. eek.
And i’m also a sucker for farm lakorns, so since PT took place much in the city, i want Taew and Mario in a sweet romance comedy in which maybe Mario comes back from studying abroad and Taew has a prejudice against him thinking he’s all city boy but through the course of the story he teases her and plays tricks on her until she realizes he’s actually a lot more hard-working and knowledgeable about farmwork than she assumed. lol and i suppose we could throw in a stalkerish female friend from abroad who follows Mario to his country hometown and ends up in Taew’s mercy (or non-mercy) because Taew will in turn play tricks on this girl who she is jealous of. Oh, and THEN (LOL) we can bring in another male friend from abroad who falls in love with Taew at first sight and resolves to buy some farmland right next to hers, so he can better pursue her only to find out that his friend Mario is in love with this sweet down-to-earth Taew from the beginning. i don’t know, i want to go wild. 555
Hi Jjinxx! I absolutely love a story set in the farms, it brings lakorn memories of tight denim jeans, cowboy hats, hot sun, beautiful greenness AND sizzling teasing and taunting between the pra’nangs ala Duangjai Akkanee (along with the entire 4 Hearts of the Mountain series) and Dum Kum. I’m sure in our pretend setting, Mario would be inclined to go shirtless, after all, it is hot. Keep having wild and crazy ideas my friend! When it comes to Mario and Taew’s next adventure together, I totally dig it!
OMG jjinxx! We TOTALLY share the idea of a farm lakorn! I was hesitating coz i was thinking EXACTLY of the cowboy type (as Fia said, with stetsons, tight jeans, and checked shirts– meh, PREFERABLY without the shirt on Mario! LOL).. but I wondered if Thailand actually has such a thing– it might be culturally so off, but I guess I was wrong as apparently there IS a “cowboy” farm lakorn subgenre! LOL..
I LOVE your idea of a city boy Mario proving his farm skills, and his friends creating all sorts of trouble for him and Taew! So many opportunities for “love-thrill” moments! ๐
In mine, Mario was once a farm hand in Taew’s vast farm with Taew as the princess (of course!).. Taew as a teener lived in the farm one fateful summer. They see each other, and they are never the same. But, again, clash of personalities and different worlds provides the exciting friction between the two. Taew is mean but unlike Plerng, Mario here dishes out *almost* with equal measure (without losing his being a gentleman, naturally)..
Then something happened, Not only is Mario’s father killed (murdered?), he and his mom are driven from the farm with nothing to bring with them. They plead for justice and for a chance to be in the farm, but to no avail. His mom died soon after in her anguish. He resolves to come back and take the farm away from Taew’s family.
Years later.. Taew has her successful work in the fashion industry, but her family is now in financial ruin, with only the farm barely allowing them to put up appearances.
Then a mysterious company buys the farm. It stipulates that the farm is to be divided into 2 competing units, and whichever unit that provides greater profits in a year, the sole management (and even part ownership) of the farm is awarded to that unit. Taew has to take on the challenge despite lacking the real farm management skills.
To her shock, Mario is her competition!.. He’s totally different now, so cool and sophisticated and so gorgeously dapper. He’s also kind of “nasty” and condescending towards her, but somehow still the same old good and happy Mario she knew when he is with other people. He must really hate her. Well, she says, no worries as she hates him, too!
And so let the games begin! .. Taew tries her darnedest best but she’s always hilariously failing.. with him hovering around, gloating! He’s so maddening that at one point, she snaps and proceeds to push the smirking lout into the lake.. He pretends to drown and so she rescues him, only to find out he’s just trying to get her into the water with him! (haha, yeah, seen this before!).. He in turn gets on fabulously, doing things with efficiency and he’s VERY popular with the farm help.. esp. those pesky farm wenches who are ALWAYS there when he’s around. Add to those are some snooty city girls who seem to have found a sudden liking in visiting farms! Like, don’t they have something better to do?? Well, who can blame them when he’s such an eye candy, esp. when shirtless! LOL ..He gets on her nerves but she gets grumpier when he’s not around. She’s going schizo!
But she’s not without her own charms, and her hard work, despite her princess rep soon wins over the farm workers, especially the guys.. she revels in their attention (and help: they trip over themselves volunteering to do her bidding!) but keeps enough distance. Not enough for Mario, of course and he’s now the one stewing!.. In a good harvest celebration party for the entire farm, Taew pulls out all the stops and comes looking so ravishing, Mario is left speechless. He tries to corner her (for a talk.. a dance..) but she’s all NO with a cute smile, then goes all twinkly eyes with the other guys. He feels like smashing.. something! LOL
Actually, Mario owns the company owning the farm.. and the competition is just a ruse for him to be with her.. He resolves to take it all away.. but everyday, his resolve is dissolving as he gains a better appreciation of her and, by extension, her family.. His plan is just to slake his curiosity of her, but as each day passes, he gets deeper and deeper to a point that he wouldn’t know what to do with himself if she’s not around.. But he has to be on business: He always suspects her family as the culprit of his father’s death, and the year is his time to investigate what really happened. He doesn’t know it but Taew and her family, in turn, have always suspected Mario’s father (and him, by extension) as responsible for something that nearly ruined them and the farm! Thus, Taew and family have THEIR reasons to hate Mario’s!… But, soon secrets are revealed.. secrets that puts him–and her– in grave danger!.. Add other complexities as development companies doing nefarious moves to get the farm, and that the land itself actually holds a motherload of minerals.. enough for betrayal, murder and intrigue!
Will they resolve everything to culminate the lakorn in a full-blown passionate romance?? OF COURSE! LOL
I swear, I don’t read romance books.. but this story could well have been in one! LOL
Anyway.. wouldn’t it be nice (or not).. that there is a “slap-and-kiss” scene? LOL
Hi Brushpicks!
LOL at you and jjinxx- great minds think alike!
I love how you’ve created such details as far as plot and storyline- can it be a lakorn already?! Perhaps someone should purchase your idea and make it reality haha. Better yet, write a romance novel (or fanfic!) I especially like the idea of Mario being a farm hand and proving himself to the point where he is masquerading the entire competition! How will Taew react when she finds out that he has tricked her and isn’t the person that she thinks he is? A complete catch! No wonder the farm wenches and random city girls were drooling all over him LOL.
Slap and kiss scene, ooh, the two are arguing furiously and something Taew says angered him (perhaps she brought up his dead parents) so he kissed her to punish her and she of course acts like she doesn’t like it (feels insulted) and slaps him. Let’s also add in a “lost in the woods” scenes too and this time (not our PT island stranded scenes) they have to cuddle up for warmth- putting cultural norms and adherence aside. *Swoons*
Wishing this was real!
Xoxo Fia
Hiyah Brushpics! I totally liked your fan idea for Mario! Being in the wild just suits him more because it balances and contrasts his refined looks. That would be hot!!!!! Shirtless Mario or in summer polo riding a horse, he will be like prince charming! Now his got a build already, it won’t hurt to see him sharpening his wildlife skills. Sort of reminds me of brokeback, but whatever, it’s Mario!
Oh brushpicks you have me laughing every time!
ah, the farm settings are just irresistable. as Fia mentioned DJA as one heck of an adorable, sizzling lakorn!
Your line “He gets on her nerves but she gets grumpier when heโs not around. Sheโs going schizo” had me rolling! I’m in love with this idea. this time, it’s not our hero but instead the heroine who has to prove that she has what it takes to succeed on her own. And I’m totally for that forbidden love with their families hating on each other and all the competition that just inevitably draws our pranang closer and closer!
LOL slap/kiss has GOT to be my favorite genre! especially when the jealousy comes into play, have mercy. Oh, and i wasn’t even thinking about a shirtless MARIO! where have i been all this time!forget about suits and tailored designer clothing of Plerng, I’ll take the bare-chested farmer boy ho makes his Taew turn into a blushing tomato any day!
Oh Fia.. the reveal would be such a big blow up, like Taew devastated and going, “you (Mario) totally made a fool out of me.. i never thought you’re this mean.. ok, you win, are you happy now?!”, and Mario dying inside thinking he totally blew it with her and in near panic as to how he’d mend things..
i’m thinking that late at that harvest party, Taew is drunk (well, in prior scenes she actually thought that Mario is serious with another girl, that’s why).. and she’s getting too “comfy” with the guys that Mario– who can’t help but sulk in a corner ignoring everybody else due to being so worked up over her– suddenly has had it and scooped her up over his shoulders as she flails about!.. He carries her all the way to her (his?) place and then berates her for her night’s “bad behavior”. She lashes back at him and they then argue about all sorts of things, accusing each other as if they were totally in a relationship and owing each other explanations (like Plerng and Numfon!).. the argument soon boils over but he clearly is no match for her and he is left stammering as he defends himself, but gets to score points only for her to get more heated. She crosses the line and he loses it, grabs her close to him and passionately kisses her to shut her up. She is stunned. Yes, katy, he kisses the girl and she (really, really) likes it! LOL.. but of course, she slaps him, (but she’s more mad at herself for liking the kiss so much! oh, no! did he notice? lol).. and cries as she runs and closes her door to his face.. the morning after would be real awkward…
and the lost in the woods part! yeah.. there’s a version of that in Mario’s “Autumn Destiny”, it was very cute even if the girl there was kinda annoying hehehe.. It would totally work with Taew!
@Marioholic..Ey!!.. LOL at Mario being in the wild.. Love it! You’ve got something there! ๐ .. Next thing, I’m thinking of Mario in a loincloth lakorn!.. Swinging through the trees from vine to vine! hahahah.. yeah, he’s got quite a build now (but just right) and it would be delish if he showcases that ๐ … btw, any news of PT’s ratings numbers?
See yah!
xoxo
Wah.. what a fantastic blow up! Your slap and kiss moment is soo Thai too, lol. I finally saw a “little bit” of Autumn Destiny (the commercial anyway) and I was not impressed with the main girl, she’s not Mario worthy at all, unlike Taew! What do you think is the next perfect, match made in heaven for Mario?
