Kitchen Scholar Ep 3

Posted on November 1, 2012

Witnessing Cha-aim holding hands with different guys is a recurring nuisance for Tum. Earlier she pretended to loose her wallet in front of the restaurant and now she is standing, hand in hand with the fat guy. Even he couldn’t steer away from her, how could he blame anyone else? Lol. Cha-aim consoles Waen that Tum is merely a friend. Apparently Waen has a crush on her too and he tells her that even though she is seeing Pong, he would always wait for her. Cha-aim is relieved that she could get rid of him, not knowing that Tum is watching them from across the mall. Meanwhile Pong is trying to steal Khun Aoy’s cell phone. But the little girl is possessive and smart…

Tum braces Cha-aim’s fall, catching her around the waist. He notices her feet are still on the rung of the ladder and he devilishly smiles at her, roughly pulling her to the ground where she lands with a thud. He steps away and laughs at his handy work while she moans in pain and irritation. Picking a fight with her, Tum instigates that her fellow coyotes were on the news about getting arrested. Cha-aim indignantly tells him that she is not like one of them and tries to walk away. Tum still has a few things left to contend with her so he held her wrist to stop her from running away, but Khun Aon sees this and comes to his side. He does…

Panyachon Kon Krua opens with a hustle and bustle. The collective students at the University are preparing to put on a show at the auditorium. The worst nightmare for any student is to wake up late for this special event. But such is the case for our leading lady, Amika, who rouses from a deep sleep at 8am, when she should have been at the school, preparing for her performance. Amika is great at thinking on her feet though, which is a resourceful skill to have, so she quickly hails a cab, changes in the back seat into her costume and when traffic deems impossible to get there in time for her show, she hops on the motor taxi and bypasses the gridlock. She…

Overthinking Panyachon Kon Krua

Posted on October 29, 2012

Fast paced, funny, silly, and romantic are a few words to describe Panyachon Kon Krua thus far. The weekend’s installment, although lighthearted, still offers an emotional ride as we watch our nang ek Amika, receive more than what she signed up for. Her goal is to gain research material to write a show stopping script for her drama competition and achieve her dream of studying in New York. It is an innocent desire, a little white lie that she deems will not hurt anyone. But she never imagined to change and be changed so much, by it all. Amika turns the household and employers to her cast of characters, slowly peeling away their layers, revealing a pretty dynamic cast. There is depth, contradictions and…

How do you tell the man of your dreams that you have to take a sh–?

There is a time and place for everything. But when the need to excrete happens in the wrong time and place, things can get a little muddled, as Amika (Kimberly Voltemas) learned or Tum (Mark Prin) didn’t learn. It was the masquerade charity ball and everyone is dressed up in cocktail dresses and tuxes with a fancy mask. Amika had been eating junk food prior and realized upon entering the ball, that her stomach didn’t feel so great. She excused herself to the restroom to take care of the problem, hoping that will rid the need for now. She felt so much lighter and relieved. That’s when she met him, Tum, a handsome gentlemen who offered her a drink and accompanied her on the…
