She tries to walk away but he blocks her.

Next we see Kemchard in the pool, punching the water in anger. His face contorts into fury.

And the epic ladder falling moment! Su is cleaning the high windows when her ladder shakes and Kemchard catches her before she hit the ground.

This episode is as captivating as it is telling. The core characters have been introduced and we find out what – if anything – Kemchard has in store for his revenge mission. And we wonder how much more Su can hold up against Mr. Nasty, and it’s only the second episode.

Yah Leum Chan – Character Introduction

lovefia

Posted on April 9, 2014

yahleumchan2

Brought to us by LakornThai Production, produced by Da Hathairat (Sawan Biang, Game Rai Game Rak) and directed by PaaJaew Yutthana (Khun Chai Putthipat, Raeng Pradthana)- Yah Leum Chan, namely Forget Me Not, takes a tale of bitter sweet romance and revenge to new heights. To the pedestal of Anne Thongprasom and Tik Jedsadaporn that is, not to mention the wonderful Kong Saharat and Rita Jensen. So beat that, other currently airing lakorns.

A Collaboration with Darkness Lakorns – Yah Leum Chan Recaps

lovefia

Posted on April 8, 2014

yahleumchan

Well hello there, Lovelies. I have some exciting news to share – Darkness Lakorns and I are doing a joint recapping project on Yah Leum Chan!

Combined with an admiration for her voice and writing talents, as well as time issues on my side and the interest in providing two voices and two writing styles for the readers, I shamelessly reached out to Lady of Darkness for collaboration on Yah Leum Chan. So how will this work? LoD will cover the odd episodes and I will be capturing the even episodes. We will post every episode on our blogs but during the days that we’re not recapping, we’ll provide the link for you.

Although we’ve never done this before, Yah Leum Chan seems like a great lakorn to start with – so, happy reading!

Head on over to Darkness Lakorns to read the first episode!

Nadech and Yaya in 3 Zaap – The Conclusion

lovefia

Posted on March 8, 2014

3zaap2

It is evident by the end of part one of 3 Zaap show that the hosts and fans alike are rooting for the onscreen sweetheart couple, Nadech and Yaya, to be a real life pair. The second part if anything, fuels the fire and gives us comfort in questions left unanswered.

We continue where we left off: talks of doing merits together. Questions arise regarding Nadech’s ordination service, and he replies that due to his workload, he is unsure of when he can ordain. However it is always in the back of his mind that he would, maybe when he turns 25. In Thailand, sons participate in ordination service for a period in order to bring merit to their parents. It’s a necessary act of dutifulness.

Naturally, after topics of ordination, topics of marriage came up. The host refers to a time when Nadech used to say that he would marry by 28, and with a smile, Nadech accounts that ‘we can say 28 is a good year to be married, but as some of us have experienced, we end up marrying at 35.” Hee. The host agrees, she’s 37 and has yet to marry. Touché.

Nadech and Yaya in 3 Zaap

ny3zaap1

Fans of Nadech and Yaya get ready to squeal, there’s a 30 minute fangirl moment in 3 Zaap that only reiterates how cute these two are together. Although they’re really not “together” if you get my meaning.

We open with the crowd going wild as the three cohosts of 3 Zaap strike their poses and introduce the screaming crowd to the beloved on screen pairing: Nadech and Yaya. In this show the lovely duo will discuss their first impressions with each other and how they’ve gotten closer after all of the lakorns they’ve been paired together: Duang Jai Akkanee, Game Rai Game Rak, Torranee Nee Nee Krai Krong, and now, Rising Sun Series: Roy Fun Tawan Deurd.

Not an empty space in the studio, as the fans listen to the couple with rapture. Fans have requested and waited for the show to feature Nadech and Yaya in their segment, now their dream has finally been realized.

The beginning of madness?

lovefia

Posted on February 20, 2014

sameeteetra

We all have our fair share of baggage when going into a relationship, some more than others. Especially Karat (Ploy Chermarn) who had been widowed twice with no good for nothing husbands who only saw her for her money. She didn’t quite lose hope for love though, as she married her third husband, thanks to her best friend, Sai Nampeung (Jui Warrattaya) who introduced them. Aw. But Karat’s cycle of bad news bear didn’t end there. Her third husband turned out to be a lying, cheating scumbag too, and it propelled Karat to believe that maybe all men are like that. From the opening scene, we know that Karat will give as good as she gets. Nobody messes with her. She has a few bitch slaps to prove it too.

Upon a car accident, her third husband drove himself to death rushing to meet her at their anniversary photoshoot. But that day she lost more than her husband, she lost her best friend too. Not in the literal sense, because Peung is very much alive, but Karat discovered that her best friend had been sleeping with her husband all this time. The greatest betrayal of all. But Peung who appeared to have animosity towards Karat (even though they were ‘best friends’) retorted that Peung had met Poo (the dead husband) first and he only married Karat for her fortune so that he could divorce her later to be with Peung. Worse friend ever. Worse blow ever.

The Boy is Mine – Samee Tee Tra

lovefia

Posted on February 13, 2014

stt

Pope Thanawat plays the boy that is wedged between Ploy Chermarn and Jui Jiranan in this epic romantic battle in Samee Tee Tra. The lakorn is a battle of the wills, with wit matching wit and seeing who comes out on top. In the original version, with the director Anne Thonprasom playing the main character, she had always stood out on top. No question about it. But what’s exciting about this newest rendition is that we have two leading ladies who are excellent actresses in their own right duking it out in this lakorn. Will Ploy outperform Jui who recently found a new home in Channel 3, or will Jui put on a performance of her life and steal the hearts of channel 3 fans?

As in the nature of these types of lakorns, Pope’s character is the ornament- the carrot dangling in the actresses eyes – but I have faith that Pope will breathe life into his character, as he always does in the characters that he portrays. With Ann Thong backing up this production, I know we are in for a treat.

[Open Thread] #10 – some announcements

lovefia

Posted on January 29, 2014

Screen Shot 2014-01-29 at 5.20.39 PM

What’s up you guys?! Has anyone noticed that this thread magically appears when I’m magically not here (blogging)? Sigh, to my dearest Lovelies (this is my endearment to you moving forward.. inspired by the Darklings of Darkness Lakorns!) life is but a crazy whirlwind ride lately. I’m sad to say this, but I’m going to put Fai Nai Wayu (sorry Aum!) on hold. My sincerest apologies that I can’t keep FNW going, but I’m already so far behind! The subbers at Viki are diligently hammering away, so don’t forget to watch FNW with English subs.. since there won’t be any recaps.

I feel so terrible! But much has been going on with my work and life, then there’s my sister’s wedding planning (which is almost a second job in and of itself!) as well as myriad of other distractions.

This is why I am opening this thread. It will be a great opportunity to discuss current lakorns (share your thoughts on FNW), gossips, what’s going on with your life, and any other important matters out there. I’ll still be here, and I may post impressions and/or other articles that don’t require 6 hours of my day to write 🙂 I thank you as always, for your continued support! So dish away!

P.S. Go on over to Darkness Lakorns to read Koom Nang Kruan, Wieng Roy Dao, Jao Payu caps- and don’t forget to say happy fifth birthday! Please feel free to share other recapping sites/projects that are going on right now. ~Fia
