EPISODE 10 BY UHRENAH

As Paul leans in to kiss Lookjun, her mom and grandmother looked on with curiosity and shock. Luckily, he stopped himself. The mom asked the grandma if she was thinking the same thing and the grandmother said…I know. Lookjun’s mom asked her how she knew and the grandmother said, even though I hate men I am not against love- I just hope that Lookjun gets a good one. Back in the city, as Lookin was getting her morning coffee, Nut shows up and pays for it before she was able to. As she walked out, some thugs were trying to harass her and Nut comes to save the day. This was all part of his plan to ease his way back into her life. At home Paul takes a phone call from Pete.

Roy Rak Hak Liam Tawan: Episode 11 Final

It is the end of the road for Roy Rak Hak Liam Tawan and our duo, Takeshi and Praewdao, as we bid goodbye, adieu and farewell to them. We have been following our romantic and sappy hero Takeshi on his road to win Praewdao’s heart at all cost, and it’s a costly one at that. Our stubborn and righteous heroine learns that maybe losing the one you love hurts a lot more than being alone. And maybe having the opportunity to live with the person you love (even precious, mere moments) is more valuable than a lifetime of solitary. But in order to beat fate and achieve happiness, we need sacrifices. Ah, those sacrifices hurt too. This finale, if anything, sets us up for the beginning of another ensuing drama. I can’t say that it doesn’t leave me writhing in anticipation for Part Two!

Our characters are dealt a big blow, whether that’s losing someone literally or figuratively. There’s so much to take in, and this fast paced episode will keep on moving even when you need a minute to digest the scenes unraveling before your eyes. And that pesky reality, why does it like to wake you up when you’re in the middle of a good dream? Sometimes it sucks being a grownup.

Lookjun proposes a toast over a nice dinner meal that she planned out for her and Paul.

LJ: Cheers! Let’s celebrate the increase of sales for Celeb mag that has gone up again and celebrate my first income as a model.

Paul: Wait wait….can we eat now? (lifts off lid of dish) Where’s the salad??

LJ: Don’t have any….today you’re allowed to eat foods that models and actors don’t eat.

While our heroine on the other hand, discovers the quieter moments and probably the more important revelation: that amidst uncertainties, all one needs is love and faith. Today’s episode also fills the void about our resident baddie and how he came to be. Hope is in the air for most, only to feel the impending doom waiting just around the corner. What happens when reality catches up to you?

[Open Thread] Who do you follow?

That’s Taya Rogers. Who do you follow on social media these days? We have twitter, instagram, facebook.. it’s all so very much to keep tabs on. Personally, I don’t care much about celebrities outside of their lakorn world – because I watch lakorns to fall in love with the story and characters – and usually turn the other cheek when it comes to celebrity scandals. But much of celebrity gossip is a guilty pleasure for many, and I can’t hate on that.

On that note, I follow Taya on instagram because she posts little nuggets of wisdom that helps her through the day, she sends out positive energy to the cosmic world, and she also posts delicious food. If you’ve seen the original Prissana, you may be a fan of the Young Taya who paired up very well with Tik Jessadaporn, the McDreamy of the year 2000. She’s also an American – which has little to do with why I follow her – but thought you might want to know that. I’ve always wondered whatever happened to the adorable girl, and come to find, she’s currently back in Thailand filming her newest lakorn “Tiger.” I might even recap this just to observe her current acting skills. In her personal life, she appears to be a savvy and smart lady.

Roy Rak Hak Liam Tawan: Episode 8

The uber cuteness is back! Today’s episode is jammed pack with revelations, truths and even heart felt tenderness (to make up for yesterday’s slow churn?) And to top the goodness off, characters are coming clean, getting smarter, and plotting their next moves like a good chess match. It’s a squeal-fest kind of episode, which is really the best kind, no? Takeshi (Mario) and Ryu (Nadech) are quite the vision in this episode, so you might need to pick up your jaw that dropped to the ground, or slap yourself a couple of times. You’ve been warned!

Roy Rak Hak Liam Tawan: Episode 7

Shouldn’t Wednesdays make it easier to get over the hump of the week? It doesn’t help matters that the events in this episode happens very slowwwly. The buildup of each scene marks for a revelation on both Seiko and Aiko’s character front. One realizes that she could finally hold on to her love, while the other realizes that she’s the reason for the loss of her love. Add filler scenes about Haro who quietly accepts his place- but secretly condoning his heart to further aggravation- and we have one helluva frustrating watch (or sleepy watch) depending on your mood. Not to mention, we get less of Takeshi-Ryu scenes. And for that, pouty face!

Chase You to the Heavens – Episode 1

I mean, come on, even the title speaks to love in the epic proportion. Chase You to the Heavens? This is a romance novel coming to life. How could I not tune in?

Channel 7 is starting the week strong with Lah Rak Sud Kob Fah, starring Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome Weir Sukullawat and Min Pechaya, reuniting after a previously successful lakorn together, Pin Anong. One that I did not partake, insert any valid excuse.

It’s been awhile since Channel 7 has lured me in – and I wanted to hold out until Prao with Aump Patcharapa (for no reason other than I adore her) – but the premise of this story is intriguing, and the set up of the story is delicious enough to go back for seconds. Yum.

EPISODE 8 SUMMARY BY UHRENAH

Art wants to go out on a date with Jum but doesn’t want it to be obvious, so he tells her that she owes him and needs to treat him out to eat. She gets annoyed and offers to give him money to take himself out to eat, but he refuses and says that she needs to actually take him to a restaurant. She reluctantly agrees to take him out to get it over with. Now that Art has finally accepted that he has feelings for Jum, when he sees Jum and Lookjun together he is enraged with jealously but the jealously is no longer for Lookjun but now it is for Jum. While waiting for Jum, Art learns from Annie that tomorrow is Jum’s birthday so maybe Lookjun took Jum out to get a birthday gift. Turns out this gift was more of assistance in getting a new wardrobe.
