Game Sanaeha – Round 5

lovefia

Posted on July 9, 2018

I was torn about which picture I wanted to feature on this episode but ended up with Luckanai lifting his face to the rain, because much of this episode is about learning to embrace the pain, understanding our flaws and accepting our issues. But the person who crushed me today is Meunchanok. Even though she’s pretending to be fake, ends up being the most honest of them all. Let’s all hope that the honesty gets soaked up before the other shoe drops. Every mother, father, daughter, and sons for themselves.

Game Sanaeha – Round 4

lovefia

Posted on July 4, 2018

This round is delicious. Meunchanok launches her new game plan on Luckanai but as she fakes her niceties, she doesn’t realize that she’s also putting down her defenses and letting him in. Luckanai determines that two can play this game and evens out the playing field, but at the end of the day, his heart just wants what it wants, and he uses the opportunity to show her what she has failed to see all this time.

Game Sanaeha – Round 3

Don’t let this pretty face fool you. It’s an all-out war now. Luckanai has always played the guardian angel to Khun Nu Nok spoiled, inconsiderate ways, but her harsh accusations and move at the beach prompts him to declare a war of his own: one that will not allow her to push him around anymore. Meunchanok on the other hand devises a plan to move him into checkmate position, hoping her plan will work by using the one very important thing against him.

Game Sanaeha – Round 2

Posted on June 26, 2018

This game isn’t merely a war game that Meunchanok has wreaked on Luckanai, but she’s starting a war with everyone. But when you start so many games, can you really keep tabs on what you’re playing, much less the score? But nothing is going to stop Meunchanok from trying. Thank goodness there’s Luckanai to keep her in check. Game on. On a random note, PSA: who here wants to do a better job recycling after this episode?

Game Sanaeha – Round 1

lovefia

Posted on June 25, 2018

Oh this is going to be FUN. Welcome to the world of wagers and game and strategy. We see the stakes right in the first five minutes of this show, which will leave us dying to find out how this game will play out – but it’s going to be a nice long, drawn out fight that will leave us asking to be tapped out- even before the results are in. Can you handle it? It’s a slap/kiss lakorn by THE LakornThai production who does slap/kiss tropes so well they have it for breakfast. It’s the kind of show, when done right, viewers eat this up. For starters, it is a pretty show, so easy on the eyes with James Jirayu and Taew Nataporn…

Upcoming Watch – Game Sanaeha, Kharm See Tan Don, Montra Lai Hong (My Hero #2)

I know we’re not ready to say goodbye to our current action lakorn lineup Likit Rak and Neung Dao Fah Diew, though thankfully we have a few more episodes left to indulge ourselves, while Matupoom Haeng Huajai ended today. However, the lakorn horizon is getting serious and we should be prepared for that, and I am here if you need me.

The Fall of Ayutthaya – The Start of Something New

lovefia

Posted on June 7, 2018

My first impressions of Neung Dao Fah Diew feel like a long time ago. In fact, it has been a long time ago, story wise. Since then Phor Kanthong has taken us on a journey of the literal fall of Ayutthaya, the most vibrant and flourishing era of the time. Not only is this a personal journey of a man who dedicates his life to uncovering the mystery of his parents’ death – by disguising as a eunuch no less – but this is a story of Ayutthaya as a character that dedicates her existence to protecting the Thai people but only to be destroyed by the very people she is protecting.

Neung Dao Fah Diew (One Sky, One Land) – First Impression

lovefia

Posted on May 9, 2018

Neung Dao Fah Diew – starring James Jirayu and Taew Nataporn – takes us to the end of an era. The Ayutthaya era that is. It is no longer the charming, easy going, and thriving world that Buppae Sunniwas presented, in fact this time period is a darker time, where the Thai people struggled against Burmese power, as well as their own people, who must decide whom to strike their allegiance. Do you stay loyal to the King, or save yourself by aligning with the winner? In this world, looking out for yourself will paint you as a traitor, and you’ll struggle for the rest of your life, trying to bury that truth.

Nakee – The Serpent Queen

lovefia

Posted on November 1, 2016

Act Art Production, along with our ratings queen, Taew Nataporn, has graced our small screen again with Monday-Tuesday lakorn, Nakee – The Serpent Queen. This lakorn aired on September 26th but due to the mourning period, has released six episodes thus far. If the steady incline in ratings is any indication, this one is a hit with Thai viewers. It seems the combination of producer, director and actress has garnered those high ratings since their collaboration from Khun Chai Ratchanon of the Suparburoot Juthathep series. But Act Art has been known to consistently produce excellent lakorns in their small screen repertoire, and this one is no exception.

Roy Rak Hak Liam Tawan: Episode 11 Final

lovefia

Posted on August 20, 2014

It is the end of the road for Roy Rak Hak Liam Tawan and our duo, Takeshi and Praewdao, as we bid goodbye, adieu and farewell to them. We have been following our romantic and sappy hero Takeshi on his road to win Praewdao’s heart at all cost, and it’s a costly one at that. Our stubborn and righteous heroine learns that maybe losing the one you love hurts a lot more than being alone. And maybe having the opportunity to live with the person you love (even precious, mere moments) is more valuable than a lifetime of solitary. But in order to beat fate and achieve happiness, we need sacrifices. Ah, those sacrifices hurt too. This finale, if anything, sets us up for…
