To make the wait a little more bearable for those obsessed with this lakorn as I am, I’ve created a reference guide to Once Upon a Time in My Heart. You know how literary fiction has a cliff note? We’ll consider this as our go-to reference guide, complete with the cast of characters, character analysis and any in depth discussion we will have about this lakorn. I will continue to add to this guide, as we’ve only begun what is a journey into this crack land we call Daniel and Fahsai’s world. But we all know that there is one character in particular that has fueled the fangirling, and his name is Daniel (Mick). So FINE, he blows OUR minds.
How can you say no to this face? It’s another great episode, complete with war of hearts, sad realizations, and renewed wants. Someone once told me that you can have what you want, but not everything. Choices involve sacrifices because when you say yes to one thing, you have to say no to another. It sucks but it’s so true. Can our hero stick with his ideals and be with the girl? It’s something Daniel will explore throughout the show, but he gets confronted with that notion today. Best to do it with a glass of courage, and maybe a searing kiss to remember it by on a rainy day?
This is me giving Ch7 the side eye. The struggle is real when watching their lakorns. It’s like they don’t understand that when you have a crack show, the feasibility- heck, the AVAILABILITY – is of the utmost importance. It’s like a drug that you can’t get and it’s KILLING ME. All I can think is gimme gimme gimme. But thankfully, after many hours of searching and waiting and waiting.. I finally found a stream. I swear this show, it’s just not healthy for me. But on another note, I’m just excited to be excited about a show again. And I don’t care if I can’t survive the cuteness. Ep 4 full recaps completed ~Fia
Fahsai is presented with tough decisions, and questions whom she should trust. What is the lesser of the two evils: gang Suer Khao or gang Mungkorn Thong? Should she trust the tiger or the dragon? Whatever lair she opts for, it’s a nail biting watch. The gangsters on the other hand try their darnest not to involve their little fish, but when it means it could give them an advantage over the other, one of the gangsters take the bait. And perhaps that is all the answer Fahsai needs in order to decide who she’s going to make her bed with. Figuratively speaking of course. But one thing is clear, I’m such a goner for this show.
Whoever said a gangster can’t be a gentleman? I think I might have found the gentleman story I was looking for. Oh Boss Daniel aka Mr. Dreamy, is as romantic as can be, sweeping Fahsai literally off her feet, and maybe mine too. Although Fahsai only has a few days with Mr. Dreamy, it is enough to learn the true essence of this man, even if she doesn’t yet know his name. Recaps completed for Ep2! ~Fia
I wonder if the powers that be in the lakorn industry secretly get together and discuss what themes they’ll be focusing on this year or next and organize the lakorn airings according to that theme- giving us gangsters, mafias, and Big Bosses of something or other all in one fell swoop. There’s really only so much Stockholm syndrome one can endure of the heroine falling in love with her kidnapper who uses her as hostage or bargaining chip. Then the heroine swoons over said hero when she realizes that he really has a good heart and in dire need of a woman’s warmth and affection. Fortunately for us, Once Upon A Time In My Heart, presents an interesting twist to the gangster theme this…
