Happy Monday, where productivity and hope for a wonderful new week starts again. This week, we will have the completion of P-N Series (24 parts total), which will end my endeavor to stretch Plerng Toranong. I can finally move on, heck everyone has already moved on, even Mario himself!
Also this week, I will be writing a continued reflection for Roy Mai and Kon Ruk Luang Jai. Hopefully after that, I can find some time to start watching Tawee Pope and Roy Marn. And, let’s not forget Nai Roy Ruk!
Cheers for the week that will end September! xoxo Fia
Plerng puts his foot in his mouth by not seizing the opportunity to tell Numfon that he loves her. And we have the beginnings of the wedding. Enjoy!

Final scenes in the island and.. caught in a compromising position! “I will marry you because it is my duty to protect your honor,” says Plerng, and we all *swoon* at his chivalrous act. Enjoy the video (because now we’ll only have five more left…)

Do you notice the significant difference in this title? Hint: 18/24. Yes friends! As my promise and dedication to this goes- we will have our closure! After compiling the videos (clipping here and adding there), I realized that I only have six more parts to my “A Plerng and Numfon Series!” I don’t know whether to jump with relief or slump in my seat with dismay. It is bittersweet indeed. Nonetheless, enjoy part 18, as we only have six more parts to go..

I must say, once you are behind, it is really hard to catch up. By all means I’m not complaining about the availability of great lakorns these days, but gee whiz, I’ve barely touched the surface of the current airings: Roy Mai and Kon Ruk Luang Jai.

I still have yet (and still very much want to) watch the following: Taweepob Pope 2011, Nai Roy Ruk and then there’s Roy Marn coming this week. Not that I intend to recap everything, but I normally write my impression of the lakorn.

Did I mention my project with P-N subbing hasn’t reached it’s completion yet? Golly, we need more time in the day 🙂
So what’s upcoming on this blog this week?
–More P-N series (trying to finish ASAP..) this will be my focus. Stay tune!
–Perhaps I’ll throw in a lakorn chitchat of more Roy Mai or Kon Ruk Luang Jai, whichever one I have the opportunity to watch.
–Fri-Sun I’ll be in Singapore (yet again) so no new posts for the weekend. We shall resume business the following Monday.
Maybe the solution to my problem is to wait until all of the lakorns have ended then watch it and write a review, the way I normally go about my life. It seems the moment I step foot in SE Asia, I feel inclined to write about what’s current. Like they say, timing is everything…
(*BTW, pics of lakorns were taken from Lyn’s Lakorn Blog, check her out on my link section.)
One thing is evident while watching Kon Ruk Luang Jai: the hot, sizzling chemistry between Ken and Janie. Their gazes can make a grown woman squirm with embarrassment and giggle like a teenager. If you are longing for a romantic lakorn, where the fire builds on early and the romance is sweeter than honey, then Kon Ruk Luang Jai is for you. The question remains however, will their fire stay burning or put out towards the end? I’m opting for the former..
Janie plays Bua, who comes from a wealthy, Chinese-Thai family in the soy sauce industry. Her mom is constantly longing for a respect within the hi-so community thus forces Bua to marry Chatchai, the man who can get them there. Bua is a sweet person but cannot fathom marrying a man she does not love and barely know, so she and her best friend Kratoon tries to find a way out. Coincidentally, they overhear her brother Phet talking on the phone with his friend Ran, who turns out to be Bua’s long time (childhood) crush, who is in need of a woman to masquerade as his girlfriend! This inspired the duo to formulate a plan.
More island scene and Numfon blurting out (at least somewhat..) that she cares about Plerng.
