I must say, once you are behind, it is really hard to catch up. By all means I’m not complaining about the availability of great lakorns these days, but gee whiz, I’ve barely touched the surface of the current airings: Roy Mai and Kon Ruk Luang Jai.
I still have yet (and still very much want to) watch the following: Taweepob Pope 2011, Nai Roy Ruk and then there’s Roy Marn coming this week. Not that I intend to recap everything, but I normally write my impression of the lakorn.
Did I mention my project with P-N subbing hasn’t reached it’s completion yet? Golly, we need more time in the day π
So what’s upcoming on this blog this week?
–More P-N series (trying to finish ASAP..) this will be my focus. Stay tune!
–Perhaps I’ll throw in a lakorn chitchat of more Roy Mai or Kon Ruk Luang Jai, whichever one I have the opportunity to watch.
–Fri-Sun I’ll be in Singapore (yet again) so no new posts for the weekend. We shall resume business the following Monday.
Maybe the solution to my problem is to wait until all of the lakorns have ended then watch it and write a review, the way I normally go about my life. It seems the moment I step foot in SE Asia, I feel inclined to write about what’s current. Like they say, timing is everything…
(*BTW, pics of lakorns were taken from Lyn’s Lakorn Blog, check her out on my link section.)
Are you coming to Singapore for the F1 races? Heeh, in any case, have fun in Singapore and with the lakorns! π
I am actually π also have a wedding that friday as well. So excited! It will be a busy weekend. Are you in Singapore?
Yep yep, I’m a Singaporean. I’ll be able to hear the F1 cars practicing from where I work. :p
I love Singapore for all the inspiring architectures, fashion, shopping, fabulous food, beer gardens, and charming, diverse people. Love it so much, I’ve been there four times in the last four months. I can totally live in Singapore- aside from the pricey lifestyle, it is the hub of activity and prosperity. Ah! I can go on forever, lol. What is it like living and growing up in Singapore? I’m sure it’s glamorous!
Glad you’ve enjoyed your time in Singapore so far. π Though not without its problems, Singapore has been a calm and safe place to live in plus it’s very convenient. If you need any info on Singapore, feel free to drop me a msg on my blog, though I’m sure you’re quite familiar with the place by now.
Incidentally, I’ll be going to Thailand for a holiday in Oct for the 4th time in 4 years! I love the food, shopping, beaches and the wonderful Thai people who have always made my holidays there a very pleasant one.
Oct 4th is coming right around the corner π Enjoy your holiday in Thailand J!
It’s okay. Just take you time. (: I would love to see you caps at least a lakorn on the list, Aka Roy Marn lol, even if you go at a slow pace. (:
Let me know how you like Roy Marn as I won’t be in town this weekend to watch it live. If you love it as you anticipate, I shall see if a recap will be underway. Thanks darling!
If you enjoyed Tawee Pope 1994, I recommend you pass Pancake’s version. It had a great start but once you pass episode 8, everything goes into the garbage. I blame the writers and directors for the most part.
Love Kon Ruk Luang Jai to pieces for now. You have the overused storyline of pra ek hiring a nang ek to be either his wife or girlfriend to deceive his family, but there’s something that makes it so special, there is no over the top nang rai. There is no major evil rai-ness lol
Obsessing over Roy Marn at the moment. The first 3 episodes are just filler, but I’m still intruged. I haven’t seen the two previous versions but I got to say this one is more juicier. The first encounter between the pranang was very weak and that is the only negative thing I have to say about Roy Marn .
You’re making me curious about Tawee Pope, now I want to know why the storyline went down south after episode 8. I have been given mixed review about the lakorn so far, my sister loves it, other readers, not so much. I’ve give it a try anyway.
Yes, like you, I like the fact that KRLJ does not have very evil characters, it makes everything so much easier to watch. It is focused on their conflict, lies and how they can overcome that. Love lakorns that are based on the two main characters!
Roy Marn- will have to watch that too!
Thanks for leaving a mark Fun!
