If you’re a fan of supernatural lakorns, Kong Gra Pan Naree (Invulnerable Woman), might be a good choice for you. This lakorn is slated to air on July 5, 2016 after Nang Tard, in the Monday-Tuesday timeslot. Broadcast Thai Production is spearheading this show, with Ken Pupoom and Wawwa as the leads. The story sounds very Thai superhero to me, and Wawwa plays this superhero called Kong Gra Pan Naree. Every 1000 years a power inhibits earth to conquer evil and it takes the form of Kong Gra Pan Naree. The person who possess this supernatural power can do some damage, if you can imagine, thus it’s wanted by everyone. Wawwa’s character’s name is Worramai aka Aeport who has to flee constantly to evade people wanting her power. She has no recollection of how she got the power or why, just that her eyes turn blue when the power displays itself. Ken Pupoom plays Nattaded, a cop who gets assigned to protect Worramai, and he helps her adapt to her powers and learn to control them. The two work together to carry out Kong Gra Pan Naree’s duty, which is to stop evil from taking over the world.
The most interesting aspect of this show to me is the romantic throughline. When these two were younger, they had made a promise to marry each other when they grow up. Unfortunately Worramai doesn’t remember Nattaded – and I can already imagine the indignant angst from Nattaded’s end – but I’m a sucker for a good love story that involves a tough heroine with an equally endearing hero to watch her back, especially one that might have already loved her. They won’t have time for standard first lead fights, because they’ll be too busy taking on the end of the world as we know it. I mean the baddies are going to want to recruit her so that they can have an indestructible weapon, while girl just want to have a hot bowl of noodle soup on the side of the street, yunno? The struggle to live a normal life is real for this show and our heroine. And I’ll be lying if I say I’m not a little intrigued to watch it.

I’ve been interested in this drama since I first heard about, something about the storyline got to me lol. It’s a nice change of pace from all the other lakorns I’ve watched in recent times so I’m looking forward to this & also seeing how Ken P and Wawwa are together as a pairing.
I love magic stuff , not familiar with these two and in Two spirit love was a little disappoint that they didn’t let Mario used enough of his awesome power , hope they don’t skim on this one and focus too much on the romance or drama ( don’t get me wrong I love romance and drama like any normal girl that currently dating an unaware guy in her head , don’t worry Weir , you’ll know about our relationship sooner or later lol ) if they sub this one I’ll check out the first couple of episode to see how much supernatural they use
Supernatural powers seem to be the central plot for this show, so I think you won’t be disappointed in that regards. While Two Spirit’s Love, like its title, is about two men’s love at the end of the day 🙂 Seriously, I am STILL working on Weir’s lakorn. It’s a slow progress since I have a few projects going on and try to watch MS in between everything. I hope I remember what happened in the show by the time I finish it *heh*
Dear Fia ,
Please do not rush , you still have a life , the grass is not greener on this side of the fence you don’t know what this addiction have done to me , friends threaten to unfriend me on facebook ( apparently in this day and age THAT the most horrible thing they could do to you ) family members think I’m nut for laughing/crying/yelling in the room by myself , I just found out I’m a talker when watching drama , 3 days off a week is no longer enough , my boss keep telling me “when you call in ask for sick day , can you please stop coughing ? you not even good at it” and I don’t even have a husband or kid to take care of , so I don’t know how you blogger did it but you have so much of my respect , we take what we given and thankful for it , so take your time , I’ll read anything cause when it come to drama I’m easy like that
Haha, ‘a talker while watching drama’ – do you mean you’re a commentator? I do that sometimes too when it’s a hair pulling drama, I’m screaming at the computer screen like a mad woman, not understanding why drama characters do what they do. I love blogging about lakorns, that’s why I can’t disappear from this world completely, and it’s always nice to have the support from readers and fellow lakorn fans like yourself – so many thanks Selendrile!
