Hi Everyone. It’s been awhile since we last talked, like talked about our daily/weekend lives. I hope these last couple of weeks has been treating you well. It’s been raining here everyday, which I guess is great for my yard and the PNW, but not so much my mood. Maybe I should move to a sunny city?
So I have been looking for some rainbow and butterfly type shows that will help lift my mood. Have you been going back to older lakorns and seeing what you’ve missed or revisiting something you’ve dropped? The 30-day mourning period that TV stations have honored has definitely proved to continue on this somber/in-awed tone, but sometimes we all need something in which we can escape to. A story. Everyone needs a good story.
Although airing shows have been preempted by the mourning period, behind the scenes for upcoming lakorns have picked up where they left off. I am still looking forward to Kluen Cheewit and hoping that show will air before the end of the year. I’m also looking forward to Nadech-Yaya’s two projects along with James Ji and Kim’s lakorn for next year. Alas, everything sounds so far away, never to be appeased.
Going back to the rainbow/butterfly shows, have you seen anything that has warmed your heart? What are your plans for this weekend? Did I almost forget about Halloween weekend? Happy Halloween dear friends! We are dressing up our little guy from Friday-Sunday haha. I mean, it’s his first Halloween, why not? I hope he can get me lots of candies 🙂
I hope whatever it is you plan to do, that you enjoy every minute of it.

Hello P’Fia, it’s been rainy here in Sg too! But at least we get bits of sunshine in between. It’s back to work for me after back to back overseas trips, and time to get settled back in my routine as we head towards year end. I haven’t been watching lakorns for a longgg time, wondering if to finish up Talay Fai. Just started on kdrama ‘woman with a suitcase’ and it’s looking good 4 episodes in.
Say hi to little man Cam as well! 🙂

Hi Nong’J! Glad to hear you’re getting a break from traveling, I know it can be fun but grueling. I always feel like I need a vacation from my vacation 🙂 hm, is the kdrama a romcom? Romance centric? Something I’d like? Maybe I should wait until it ends to make sure it’s great throughout. I haven’t seen TF so can’t recommend whether you should continue, but usually when a show loses my interest I would just drop it. Keke. Little rascal is doing well, just growing way too fast for his own good.

Hi J. I watched Talay Fai. The leads are super fine, but the lakorn is boring in my opinion. I mean how many time can attempts be made on their life and they escape each time? Evidence kept being destroy. Misunderstandings and make ups. The repetitiveness had me rolling my eyes, but I had nothing else to watch at the time!!! I say skip to the last 2 episodes. You won’t miss a thing.

hello hello hello !! ^__^ It’s been a while. =)
Sadly, I’m actually not interested in any lakorn right now but I’ve heard/read that the cast lead from “Tarm Ruk Keun Jai” will be making an appearance in Kim and James lakorn(I’m not sure if Nadech will be making an appearance) but I just want to see adorable Noona and good looking Nai Singh together in a scene again. =^o^=

Hi :)! That is true, Noona will make a cameo in Buang Hong but I don’t think Nai Singh will- although Nai Singh is supposedly the hero’s BFF and business partner. Can’t blame you, there’s not many addicting lakorns out recently. Hopefully, eventually something will catch your interest 🙂

Really, Nadech won’t be making an apperance?!?!?! Noooooo !! T^T
I mean, I guess I can understand why….the dude is so darn busy. Lol !! I was hoping that he would try to make an appearance for just a tiny bit, since Nai Singh is James character BFF. Perhaps Noona will be handing the business. Lol !!
oh and I also forgot, I’m still looking forward to see next year lakorn “Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat “with Pope and Bella and “Plerng Boon” with Pong and Bella.(I believe you and I discuses about this -somewhat in the beginning of the year but … just a reminder that I’m still very in for it. Lol !!)
Thank You _/\_
HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!
babies, toddlers, kids, children you name it are all so cute in costumes!!! (squeal!!)

Well there’s still a chance Nadech will do a cameo, filming hasn’t wrapped up yet. I just haven’t heard that he would.
Mine is going as curious george and superman 🙂 he gets a couple of outfits for the weekend. So stinking cute.

Hey Fia! (:
Hope you’re doing great! As always, thank you for your awesome posts and updates. Hmm, any lakorns I’ve been watching.. well, I have went back to watch Padiwarada, because I loved the chemistry and relationship between James and Bella. Also, I started watching Ngao Asoke 2016 with Esther and Sean, because they are so great together and the editing, directing, producing of the lakorn is somewhat modern and I just love it! It’s funny, because I didn’t like the previous version with Pong but I enjoy watching this remake. Sadly, because of the mourning period though, I’ve been re-watching the aired episodes on youtube until they air the next episode T.T
But for the weekend, it’s my family’s Hmong NY and I can’t wait to salavong and get down with family and friends ^^ Plus, Halloween but probably won’t do much for that, haha.
Anyways, Happy Halloween to your family and you!

Happy Hmong NY to you and yours Heidi! Two more weeks, I’m sure the mourning period will be lifted and lakorns can resume. But still, good ones are slim pickings and I can’t seem to find any that captures my attention. Have a wonderful weekend!

I like to re-watch the excessively sad parts of shows when I’m just jumping around, trying to find something to watch, so I probably don’t have many happy and light recommendations. In fact, I was just watching the breaking up parts of Jam Loey Rak last night! However, I recently watched Ton Ruk Rim Rua and found Mark and Kim’s relationship absolutely charming. The most cute movie I’ve seen recently is the Filipino movie, Always Be My Maybe. Romantic and very true to life.

hi Fia 🙂 how have you been doing? it has been raining everyday too here in Msia especially in the evening. do you like fluffy, light, a little bit cheezy drama? no real drama, just good feeling all through? i wanna recommend Just A Smile Is Very Alluring(or also known as Love o2o) to you. it’s a modern chinese drama with subs yay! i was waiting for Moonlight Drawn By Clouds to finish airing so that i can binge watch it so during the waiting i picked this drama up. what a pleasant surprise! the OTP is relationship goals ftw + beautiful people. its a mixed of gaming world and campus love story so it was definitely something new for me and i totally love it, especially the gaming part, surprisingly. i think i re-watched it like 10 times already.
as for lakorn, i’m patiently waiting for Narkee to resumed airing and Kluen Cheewit for Mark and Yaya, hopefully soon

Hello Fia, I haven’t been watching lakorns so I’m splitting my drama time between Woman with a Suitcase, Shopping King Louie (kdramas) and When a Snail falls in Love (C drama), the later mixes suspense and crime with some romance. Although the pacing of the romance is sloooooowwww. I love it.
