April has come and gone and some of you may be wondering whether I’ve had my baby yet and how motherhood is treating me. I’m happy to report back that baby boy did not overstay his welcome and came five days early!
All eight pounds of him and eight hours of labor was worth it seeing his squishy, adorable little face. The long and arduous journey of pregnancy was only the beginning as sleep deprivation, feeding around the clock and projectile vomits/poops became the name of the game. Two weeks in, and I’m deliriously happy! Call me crazy.
The event itself is not all rainbows and butterflies but certainty the most rewarding and hardest thing I’ve ever done. Takes the meaning of motherly love to another level. I’ve always found my own mother strong and formidable, but I’ve gained a new appreciation for her. This shit is hard.
So happy Mother’s Day, embrace the woman who endured and crossed an entire river to give birth to you. And if she didn’t, she would still cut her right arm to save you.
Here’s my squish Cameron, I love him to the moon and back.
Having said that, I don’t know where I’ll find the time to watch lakorns much less write about them. I barely have time to eat, as I’m currently holding a squirming baby and typing on my phone.
But tell me what you’re watching! I’m dying to know what’s going on in the lakorn world. Am I missing out? Dish away!
Congrats Fia! He’s oh so adorably cute. And as for the lakorn world, unfortunately I have nothing to talk up. I’ve been rewatching past lakorns and the only sort of new lakorn I’m watching now is ngao jai with view and toomtam. I’ve yet to give the new Leh Ratree a chance but I am looking forward to the upcoming lakron starring James Ma and Kim Voltemas. So I’m in the same boat as you and looking for recommendations. In the meantime, just enjoy your new bundle of joy as much as you can. Because then they get bigger and start talking 🙁
Welcome to the world Nong Cameron! So glad that you finally delievered a cute and healthy baby. Hope he will be your sweetness of the heart.
I’m currently watching Lom Sorn Ruk. Hehe,,late isn’t it? And planning on watching Leh Ratree 2015 after this. The last one I’m watched is Kaew Ta Waan Jai with Boy and Mint Chalida. The lakorn is so cute for me. I’m in love with the character Kaiwarn.
I think all of my lakorn list is not new for you. But I still wanna share my current lakorn world. Thanx for your update !
Super congrats! Embrace these moments, because they go so fast! Happy (early) mother’s day! Your little squishy is so cute!
Thanks guys! One thing that surprised me the most about babies is that they make a lot of weird noises. No one ever told me that. So look out, new moms, don’t freak.
Congratulations!!! I’m so happy for you and he is very handsome! Good Job mom and dad! With regard to the baby noises, have you seen this video? I don’t know how accurate it is since I’ve never been around a baby that long, but it seems legit to me! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgkZf6jVdVg (If you’re really tired or sleepy or don’t have time, skip to 4:34, that’s when she starts discussing the particular sounds)
as to the lakorns, I’ve been watching the Dragon Mafia Series, I am loving the golden boys. (I’m new to lakorns so I’m amazed at seeing veteran actors). I am looking forward to Neung Nai Suang 2015 (With James JIrayu and Yaya) and Ka badin (with james Ma and Matt) I’m also rewatching old ones. I’m falling in love with Tik, methinks.
Such a cutie! Welcome to the best job in the world! Happy Mother’s Day Fia! I feel like I have been missing out on the lakorn world too. And you will notice that when they wet their diaper they tend to smile….hehe at least that was with my babies…not sure if they happen to babies.
Congrats on your new bundle of joy. Cherish and enjoy every moment. He will love you unconditional and you will do the same. May the lord continue to bless you and your husband. Lots of hugs and kisses from all of us
Congrats Fia! What a darling baby!!! I don’t think you’re missing out in the Lakorn world. I haven’t watched anything since the Rising Sun series. Enjoy that baby of yours because they grow super fast. Best advice I can offer is, enjoy every moment not anticipating for the next!
Congrats P’Fia! So happy for you! :))))
The most recent lakorn I watched was the 2015 remake of Leh Ratree. I had a good time watching and even fangirled a bit but guess it wasn’t sufficient to get my blogging (yet).
Well, such an eye candy. A woman is weak. But a mother is strong. So, congratulations to becoming a strong woman. I’m watching Singh of Mafia series. Couldn’t watch Suer. Ananberly is great but the storyline is a mess. Well, Singh has adorable and sweet nangek combined with Tik’s hot stares. If you like Tan Ying Taew, you should try watching this. Tan Ying was proud and relentless in fighting for love but Ahju is so clumsy, brave and shy. And Songrod is smart, brave and so poetic. I die a thousand death everytime he says ‘Don’t touch my woman’.
Aww congrats on being a mother! For the lakorn world, I’m watching the MLM series, and in the next slot Ka Badin is coming up (FINALLY!) I might gives NNS a try too. As for what I’m anticipating, I’m really anticipating James Ma and Kimberley’s upcoming lakorn. 🙂
Happy Mother’s Day.
Enjoy all the priceless moments
Congratulation and Happy mothers day,…awww he is supeerrr adorable…
Lakorn wise, you are not missing anything….I was looking forward to the Dragon series, but honestly Suer – put me off, chemistry was good, otherwise story was weak..I was hoping they would make the men, good gentlemen throughout the series(kind of like Samaa in Mon ja tra – can u tell im not over him even though this drama was ages ago..lol..), anyway when the men start being jerks thats where I lose interest in the drama. I do enjoy my fair share of slap/kiss, but I hate when they trick me, first make the guy soo nice, then he becomes a jerk all of a sudden..anyways i’ll keep looking hopefully will find something and will let know.
Oh my gosh, he’s so adorable! Congratulations, Fia! Whatever free time you have will now be taken over by your precious baby (but you wouldn’t want it any other way). You’ll eventually find time again to pursue your former loves or maybe even discover new ones, but your child(ren) will always come first. Enjoy every moment with your bundle of joy. Happy Mother’s Day.
Thanks Chobling! I can definitely see my life changing already- of course for the better. They grow up so fast so I’m going to enjoy all of the gnarly growth spurts. I’m hoping I’ll find time to enjoy my hobby as well, eventually 🙂
I hope all is well with you. What are you up to these days?
Honestly…I haven’t been doing much of anything except work and spend time with my niece when I can. (My sister just had her firstborn 6 months ago.) She’s just the cutest thing, and I love it when she babbles or just makes weird noises. It’s so adorable! I think if I had a baby of my own, all I’d want to do is record every moment just because I don’t want to miss a thing lol.
It’s going to be a really sad day when I go back to work. I’m already going through withdrawals thinking about it 🙁 but maternity leave for 3 months isn’t too bad and I’ll just have to make the best of it. I have a phone chock full of random cuteness from my little man Cam. Definitely can’t get enough. Your niece must be so adorable!
Well my sisters and I think she’s adorable, especially since she’s always so happy, but I’m sure everyone feels that way about their own family. Three months is so nice. I know some people who only got 6 weeks because they didn’t have enough time saved up. Trust me, having photos of him might help alleviate some of the pangs of missing your son when you’re at work, but it’ll also make you miss him more lol. But having them is better than not having them. I can’t imagine what it’d be like to be a new mother and have to return to work when maternity leave is over. I’m sure it’ll be more difficult and painful than giving birth.
Congratulations P’Fia on your little boy, he looks so adorable!!
Such a handsome little man! I’m so happy for you and your family!! Wishing you the best and many sleepless nights as you and Cam adjust!! Love and kisses!! 💞🍼
Congratulations on your new addition! Aww he’s so cute.
Hi Fia,
Finally your little prince has arrived! Love the name Cameron, He’s so cute! Thanks for sharing his lovely picture. I love baby feet and chubby toes. Show us his feet next time please….:-D
As for lakorns I’m watching mafia series but am not really into them.. Tik is much better in this Singh series than in Ya Lem Chan. Also watching Kolkimono but couldn’t make sense of the storyline. Pi Bird acts stiff here but his ost songs are so good in this lakorn!!
Love,
Kool
Congratulations Fia!!! Cameron looks adorable. I am so glad you are taking in and loving every moment of motherhood even the not so easy times. Wishing Cameron and very healthy and bright life ahead. Much love.
Wow. He’s gorgeous!! Congrats to your neXT step in life:)
Currently watching Keating from the Mafia series. Will start the Ugly duckling as soon as i find a link. Waiting for Ka Badin, Song Hua Hai Nee Peu Ter etc. gahh so many. When you do have time, watch Leh Ratree! It’s good and addicting!!
Again congrats!!
*Krating
OHHH Fia! How gorgeous and healthy he looks! Congratulations on a baby boy and becoming a mother!
Ahh..SUPER CUTE! Congrats to you, he is adorable! As a new mommy myself, I am finding I have no patience for lakorns these days. lol However, I did finish some before going back to work after 3 months maternity leave. I also find myself skipping through boring scenes to get to the point. At this particular moment, there’s nothing good to watch except spending time with my little man. Hope motherhood is treating you great. All the sleep deprivation is worth the massive amount of love that little bundle of joy comes with. Take care.
hai nong Cameron.. u r such a cutie. Be kind to your mommy k! Congrats P’fia. Am so happy for you!
heyyyyyy late congratulations to you being a mom. God bless you and your baby.
