April has come and gone and some of you may be wondering whether I’ve had my baby yet and how motherhood is treating me. I’m happy to report back that baby boy did not overstay his welcome and came five days early!

All eight pounds of him and eight hours of labor was worth it seeing his squishy, adorable little face. The long and arduous journey of pregnancy was only the beginning as sleep deprivation, feeding around the clock and projectile vomits/poops became the name of the game. Two weeks in, and I’m deliriously happy! Call me crazy.

The event itself is not all rainbows and butterflies but certainty the most rewarding and hardest thing I’ve ever done. Takes the meaning of motherly love to another level. I’ve always found my own mother strong and formidable, but I’ve gained a new appreciation for her. This shit is hard.

So happy Mother’s Day, embrace the woman who endured and crossed an entire river to give birth to you. And if she didn’t, she would still cut her right arm to save you.

Here’s my squish Cameron, I love him to the moon and back.

Having said that, I don’t know where I’ll find the time to watch lakorns much less write about them. I barely have time to eat, as I’m currently holding a squirming baby and typing on my phone.

But tell me what you’re watching! I’m dying to know what’s going on in the lakorn world. Am I missing out? Dish away!
