Thanks so much for participating in the poll! The list of upcoming lakorns on the poll are ones that I plan on watching anyway, but your vote gives me a good idea on what you’d like to read and follow. To that end, I will be recapping the following lakorns to their completion:
Dao Kiaw Duen (The star woos the moon) starring Aum Atichart and Janie Tienphosuwan. The behind the scenes photos are the best, so let’s hope that the small screen does it justice. Brought to us by Broadcast Thai Production, this lakorn will take over the Weds-Thurs timeslot, scheduled to air on August 29th. You can anticipate the recaps same day, pacific standard time. Watch the teaser here (courtesy of Catmadtz.)
Following Dao Kiaw Duen is Ton Rak Rim Rua (Love starts at the fence.) Since the lakorn is literally 3 votes away from DKD, I thought it’s only fair to cover this as well. Also, because it is a weekend lakorn (scheduled to air after Nang Rai Sai Lub), I’m giving you fair warning that my recaps will not be live. Spearheading this lakorn is Maker Group, featuring Mark Prin and Kimberly Woltemas. Watch teaser here (courtesy of Kimmystationworld.)
As for the remaining lakorns (which I plan on watching anyway) I will write the first episodes’ recap. If I like it, I will most definitely continue, if not, at least you’ll get the first impression, no?
I am very excited for what is to come on this blog and the lakornworld: a modern feminist wooing an Artistocratic man to produce a baby of her own, not intending on falling in love of course, and a man helping his friend/neighbor out by agreeing to be her ‘real’ husband. So many rom coms in store for us! Who’s game?

alright! i voted for janie-aum lakorn from my mobile but i’ve been suspicious for a week now whether or not it went through. oh well. also happy for kim-mark lakorn too. personally, it was a tie between both but voted for janie and aum bc of the scandal issues almost taking the lakorn off the air.plus the plot is similar to a korean drama; the name i don’t remember.
and really, as for mark-kim lakorn, i’m a sucker for fake marriage plot lines and i’m all for dramas where the leading ladies are strong, go for what they want women, even when they’re a bit misguided.no more too overly goody goody women bordering on lobotomy stupidity/naivety!!!!!
Hi, lidy. The name of the korean drama similar to Dao Kiaw Duen’s storyline is Bad Couple which was released in 2007. I remember watching it and was intrigued by the unusual plot and the independent go getter attitude of the nang ek. I’m looking forward to Janie’s portrayal of this strong character. 🙂
Eeps, I missed the poll but glad to hear you’ll be recapping Dao Kiaw Duen. Aum/Janie’s pairing is one that I’m really excited about! =)
Do you know when Madam Dun is airing?
No dates for Madame Dun yet, as they are still filming. I’m guessing before the end of the year? The thing with the Thai ent industry, things always change 🙂
Yay!! I’m looking forward to DKD, the plot sounds intriguing and not so-typical and Janie/Aum totally make a hot pair!
May I suggest Nak Su Mahagan!
Woot!~ Can’t wait for DKD! 😀 Thanks so much!
Kyaa… Thank you so much for recapping Ton Rak Rim Rua. Loving these two since Panyachon Kon Krua. They have amazing chemistry. I’m sure that we this one won’t disappoint us. Kim & Mark said that TRRR has a lot of cute and funny scenes with a little drama at the end. I don’t know if this lakorn will be subbed so your recap really help MK fans a lot <3
