Are you ready for some bromance? The next stretch of our weekend installments is the Gentlemen Jutathep Series (Supaburooot Jutathep), channel 3’s biggest project to date, where 5 producers and directors collaborate to create a period drama about 5 brothers.
The first story of the series is Khunchai Tharathorn (M.R. Tharathorn) starring Grate Warintorn and Pream Ranida, directed by P’Num. Grate plays Khunchai Tharathorn Jutathep, a nobleman who is the eldest of the Juthatheps, and he decides to take on the burden of a promise made by his noble father, who wants one of his boys to marry the lady of Thewapob’s family. He’s a professor, the n’ek is one of his students. Although, about 60% of the storyline takes place in the forest, according to Pream- so I’m not sure how I feel about that- not to mention the subplot of the main girl masquerading as a man. Despite it all, there are elegant and glamorous shots of a period where gentlemen are still valorous, and the ladies are complete with class.
This little gem is coming to us this Friday, taking over the cute Pon Prom Onlaweng timeslot, and perhaps will be able to make the fans miss Dr. Pathawee and Tanyong less. Who’s on board?

I’m still on the fence about whether I will be recapping this particular lakorn. If it draws my attention, I just might, but at a slower pace 🙂 Spring is upon us! What I do like is the fact that it is not another remake- or I don’t think it is 😛 You just never know these days!
I can’t wait for this series. I’m hoping someone will either recap or sub this series. 🙂 All the pairings are looking great and really match. Really looking forward to Khun Chai Ronnapee. I also hope that someone will post this up on Youtube, otherwise I don’t know where else I can watch this.
In regards to Khunchai Ronnapee, I have a good feeling that one of Minty’s fan will sub it. I’m not sure about the rest of the series though..
Started watching this! It’s pacing is a bit slow, but that might just be the first three episodes…? Regardless, Great and Pream are uber cute together and I like their characters. Their “sibling” relationship is adorable and it sets me up to fall more for them when they realize their feelings are even deeper. I like the brothers as well.
I am watching this first part. So far, I think he have been ok. I am more interested in the second pair more than the main pair.
Both Mint N and Deaw are cute together.
Totally loved Grate! I feel that the romance could of been there more, but love his love for her once they get further along in the lakorn.
