Our characters are dealt a big blow, whether that’s losing someone literally or figuratively. There’s so much to take in, and this fast paced episode will keep on moving even when you need a minute to digest the scenes unraveling before your eyes. And that pesky reality, why does it like to wake you up when you’re in the middle of a good dream? Sometimes it sucks being a grownup.
Our hero makes strides, digging deeper and discovering things that still cease to amaze him. While our heroine on the other hand, discovers the quieter moments and probably the more important revelation: that amidst uncertainties, all one needs is love and faith. Today’s episode also fills the void about our resident baddie and how he came to be. Hope is in the air for most, only to feel the impending doom waiting just around the corner. What happens when reality catches up to you?
The uber cuteness is back! Today’s episode is jammed pack with revelations, truths and even heart felt tenderness (to make up for yesterday’s slow churn?) And to top the goodness off, characters are coming clean, getting smarter, and plotting their next moves like a good chess match. It’s a squeal-fest kind of episode, which is really the best kind, no? Takeshi (Mario) and Ryu (Nadech) are quite the vision in this episode, so you might need to pick up your jaw that dropped to the ground, or slap yourself a couple of times. You’ve been warned!
Shouldn’t Wednesdays make it easier to get over the hump of the week? It doesn’t help matters that the events in this episode happens very slowwwly. The buildup of each scene marks for a revelation on both Seiko and Aiko’s character front. One realizes that she could finally hold on to her love, while the other realizes that she’s the reason for the loss of her love. Add filler scenes about Haro who quietly accepts his place- but secretly condoning his heart to further aggravation- and we have one helluva frustrating watch (or sleepy watch) depending on your mood. Not to mention, we get less of Takeshi-Ryu scenes. And for that, pouty face!
Another episode filled with uber adorable-ness. Is that even a word? I don’t care. I’m in love with the show. The relationship and story front both move to the right direction. The girls come to an understanding, while some misunderstandings stay hidden. Seiko warns Takeshi from mentioning morbid things, and we see that perhaps he ought to listen to her. But he’ll take punishments in the form of kisses.. yes, hugs and kisses please.
Oh, be still my heart. This episode really makes my day. We are seemingly led down a path thinking that it will go one way, but un-expectantly encounter another. Perhaps it is bittersweet for all parties, gaining a measure of happiness, but also going against a measure of time. Should we dive headfirst knowing that our hearts will break, or should we embrace whatever remaining time we have left? All’s I have to say is that with our recent turning of events, the romance is upped and with that, so will the angst. But I’m going to enjoy the well-earned peace, even if angst is only an arm length away!
Our hero tries to prolong the time he has with the woman that he loves, but he soon learns that time isn’t really on his side, especially when you have an enemy pulling at all corners, and your allies hanging by a thread. He’s caught between a rock and a hard place. Although the beginning of this episode left us fearing that we’re spinning our wheels and jeopardizing the plot – with our hero doing the same thing over and over again, despite all of the wonderful hugs– but then, he makes a choice, the baddies strike, the side kick takes over, and we are rolling once again.
This is a solid episode setting up our hero into his new title that comes with a whole slew of responsibilities. We are given motives and background behind the past, as well as given more reasons to fall in love with our Takeshi – not to mention his side kick and “brains” of the operations, Ryu. How does one move on from a tragedy? Thankfully our hero gathers the strength that comes from the twinkling light of the stars. He remains steadfast in his belief and desires, but is forever stronger and tougher after the experience. Knowing full well that responsibility comes with sacrifice, his heart tests that boundary every day, which in turn forces us to hold our breaths, the kind that we didn’t…
It’s a multitude of emotions in this episode that propels our story forward. Our hero learns to accept what he finds is the biggest sacrifice he has to make, but then realizing that an even bigger hurtle will come his way. What happens when love isn’t the only concern that will plague our hero? What happens when everything changes from here on out? Alls’ I have to say is strap that seatbelt on tight, because we are about to be shaken. Takeshi! Mario! Ryu! Nadech! Oh, the cuteness overload and then the squeeze in my heart when they’re dealt with the toughest blow.
I think I might already be in love. For being a premier episode, the premise and characters are well established, allowing us to see the story world, the problems that will unfold, as well as how quickly we will get there. That’s what I find awesome about this lakorn, it’s fast paced and we become familiar with the characters by the first episode. Which is a good thing because it’s been a long wait for this drama to finally air, no matter how patient we are forced to be, we just want to get there. Know what I mean? And now that we’re there, I’m a kid in a candy store. Woooo! I apologize in advance if I’ve butchered the spellings of Japanese names.…
