Still very much Team Khun Petch. Let’s get through the backstory of the revenge plan in episode 3 and 4, so we can make way for more romance. One can hope.
Episode 3 & 4 Recap
Twenty years have not lessened Vilairumpa’s anger and vengefulness towards Khun Chai Phee and Piangkwan. Despite marrying a commoner and having a daughter, she did not receive the necessary help, and her mental health worsened after her husband’s death. Now, she rarely leaves her house. Dujupsorn has finally brought her mother to the city to seek psychiatric help, but under the condition that Dujupsorn seeks revenge on Piangkwan’s sons. She wants her daughter to make them fall in love and then dump them as payback. Dujupsorn agreed to this in desperation to get her mother the necessary help. This explains why she applied to JT Real Estate, to gather information on the Juthathep family.
Who knew that one particular Juthathep would make things emotionally very difficult for her? Even her longtime friend suggests she treat this revenge plan as a lakorn; something she could start and end at will. Dujupsorn intended to just find her target, whether it was the older or younger brother. She just needed to make one of them fall in love and then dump them. But revenge plans are seldom all that simple. She has a psychotic mom who would not take Dujupsorn’s simple plan lightly, and we can already see her upping the ante.

I understand why Dujupsorn made a promise to her mother, but I do wish she would listen to more rational people in the house, such as her aunt, who reminds her that her mother is not in the right state of mind. As a daughter who has always lacked her mother’s warmth, she wanted to please her, even if it meant doing something wrong. I appreciate that her aunt urged her not only to focus on the future, but also to cherish whatever brings her happiness in the present. She is clearly referring to the boss who makes Dujupsorn’s heart race.
Yes, can we focus on the cute and fluttery moments before delving into the angst? Let’s not break this man’s heart; he has puppy dog eyes only for her. Khun Petchrationalizes that it’s unfair to him that he liked her before she worked for him. Now that he is her boss, he wonders why he can’t get to know the person he likes simply because she is his employee. He says that he does all those things for her because he wants to, and that she can choose to accept it or not, but he simply cannot stop. Dujupsorn could only look at him speechless, because he makes her feel all kinds of things, but it only complicated what she needs to do. I love that he loves so unconditionally and so openly, and admits to being human and hoping that it pays off in the end.
Comments:
Khun Petch is getting clues on Vilairumpa and even learns that Dujupsorn has a mother who may need psychiatric treatment. Maybe he will put the pieces together, is that a stretch? Oof, I don’t know if I can watch Khun Petch get his heart broken, or watching someone he likes pursue one of his cousins. He already mentioned to her that he hoped she was not one of the people who approached him to get to his cousins. Because it wouldn’t be the first time. Ack, Khun Petch go call dibs on her before Cousin Poom decides he needs a girlfriend. I know it is already too late as I am typing this. I haven’t gotten to know Cousin Poom yet, but I already don’t like him. Ha. Team Khun Petch all the way.
