Squeee. Episode 7 was so good, I’m so sad there weren’t more to watch. I’m falling in love with Khun Muen falling in love with Katesurang. Every time he looks at her, I die a little inside (of the happy variety!) Wow, Pope is born to play an Ayuthayan man. And Katesurang? She’s the best friend you wish you had in Ayuthaya era. You’d think a little corporal punishment may deter her from venturing out, think again. I’m opening up this thread so we can discuss Buppae Sunniwas up to tomorrow’s episode. Life isn’t permitting me to delve deeply into writing reflections on this show thus far, but I’m up to deep discussions in the comment section. Tell me your thoughts – I will chime in as much as possible! P.S. I could watch the characters in this show just going about their day all day, that’s my favorite thing about the show, it highlights what it’s like to live in that time. Especially our duo who likes to peer up at the moon, waxing hilarious poetry.

Watching 8 right now. And put the nail on the head, “I’m falling in love with Khun Muen falling in love with Katesurang.” What’s the best is his shift from accusation to curiosity. He even said “I always pay attention (to you).” I love that he knows (somehow) that she’s not who he knew but still wants to get closer and closer to her. But the one thing I I’ve most about this show is I like it more with every new episode! This makes you want to talk and talk and talk about it.
Totally agreed – this show gets better and better as the story progresses. I like that they don’t show all of their cards in the beginning, it’s like they are teasing us and pleasantly surprising us with the depth of the story. Speaking of teasing, I just love Khun Muen’s teasing smiles, his thoughtful (penetrative looks), and he’s so very curious about her. I think ever since she saved him from the boat topple debacle, and he saw glimpses of a different person in Karakate’s body, it confirmed to him that she’s not the same person, so perhaps that allowed him to open his heart and let her in. Le swoon.
Can you please advise where you are watching it, because I usually watch it on SJDK Fansub on Facebook but it is inaccessible right now. The page is just no longer there. So I’ve been unable to see the new episodes. I’m going into withdrawal. I need my Buppae Sunniwas fix to endure the weekend (lol).
Hi Keisha, I’m watching this lakorn on ch3’s YouTube channel. I’ll defer your question to the other readers, they might know where to find the alternate site. Def gotta watch to make the weekend even more enjoyable.
https://polldaddy.com/js/rating/rating.jsThank you very much. I was able to finally locate the blog page for SJDK after posting the question on other forums and I immediately started watching episode 7. So my weekend is definitely saved. Do continue to enjoy your day and you weekend.
I smiled like an idiot throughout most of ep 8. My husband was like, why are you smiling like that? Haha So embarrassing, but it was so good! I love how Khun Muen is starting to find her oddness endearing, and just looks at her fondly. Squeee!
https://polldaddy.com/js/rating/rating.jsHey Fia, hope all has been well with you and your family. I, also hope you have been loving the lakorn as much as I have. (: The episodes are just getting sweeter and sweeter as it continues to air ❤
I think initially, I began to ship Muen Reung and Katesurang, because he treats her so nicely and sweetly lol But now, I can officially say Khun Muen/ Khun P' is falling so hard and I loveee it! He's so kind and he really is trying to show all his love for her it makes me melt inside. "Squeee," is definitely how I feel whenever their scenes come up. Also, I can't wait for Muen Reung and Mae Janward's relationship to build as well, because I'm excited for them to even be paired in this lakorn ❤
Thank you for always dropping in on your blog just so we all can have these kind of discussions, hehe.
(:
Hi Heidi, my obsession with this lakorn is probably more apparent on twitter, but nevertheless, I do love it to bits. There’s a lot more I have to say but will find some time to organize my thoughts, aside from squee! omg! kyaaa! and squee! again. I do like the introduction to Muen Reung and Mae Janward’s, only because although Mae Janward is a woman of her time, seeing the pain in her face when the once attentive man is giving his attention to another woman (albeit his fiance), it still hurt no less. I hope that she accepts the fact that her hope is just hopeless and give another worthy man her attention. I did like that she said although she may overshadow Karakate in stature, she’s still got nothing on Karakate because at the end of the day, Khun Phi isn’t hers to begin with. Well at least there’s self awareness!
Thanks for always stopping by, I hope you are happy and healthy!
The more I watch, the more I like it! I feel like it’s just getting to the good part where our main couple is starting to fall for one another. 😍
Yay. I hope it goes on for a long, long while 😍
Hi fia,
i was searching through google for some english recap of Buppae Sunniwas because the site im following is still on ep 7 and in youtube, there are no english sub. then i stumbled into your blog. i hope you dont mind me chiming in here. it was my first thai drama and its really enjoyable to watch.
Welcome aboard! My goodness, what a great first lakorn to watch, it just might ruin you for other lakorns 🙂 Chime away my dear, it’s what I love most about blogging, sharing thoughts and reflections with fellow lakorn fans. I’m so glad you chanced upon us!
Hello Fia, first I would like to say I love your blog and thanks for sharing! I didn’t know anything about the new lakorn Bhuppae Sunniwat until my friends told me about it. I told her, ” I’ll watch it when all the episodes are subbed and finished.” Little did I know on one boring school night, I decided to watch episode 1. Oh boy! What did I get myself into… Lol. I got really hooked onto the drama, I couldn’t not even concentrate at work. LOL. I couldn’t wait for SJDK to hurry up and upload, but good thing I cam home just on time ready to watch the new episode. I cannot express all these bubbly feeling that we all have for this drama with Kaesurung’s funny character and Khun P’s stubborn yet slowly falling for her. I laughed so much throughout this drama. I laughed when she mentioned about Tawee Pope. And I laughed so hard at “kee ma” riding horse. She mentioned about Manee Ratana ( correct me if I’m wrong) Lol. I knew of this old boran from watching the Hmong dubbed version of Kaew Manee who looks and acts like a horse. So when Kaesurung mention about the boran, I laughed so hard! So sort of in a way of an inside joke, only those who have seen the boran would actually knew what she was talking about. LOL. But she is full of silliness who also reminds me of Manee (Pancake). I have always liked Pope who always played second characters, which I also really like him in the 5 brother series. But with Bhuppae Sunniwat, I really think that this lakorn or boran is definitely the out break of his career. I am glad and feel good in way to catch his eyes. He’s doing great! He is doing wonderful! Lets talk about the romance part, which also swept my feet away. Lol. When he smiles, his jealousy, OMG, if only I have someone who felt the same way about me. LOL. When Khun Rueng came into the picture, Khun P warming up Karakade’s hands because she felt cold. Khun P telling her to go look into the mirror, who was the woman in his heart. Then, I laughed when she uses his words back to him and he smiled so big. This drama has literally gotten me on my toes, I watched every episode over and over and again and again until the new episode was uploaded. My sister probably think I’m crazy! But I just really, really love how Pope and Bella played their characters so well and with such great chemistry! I also read comments and didn’t know it was based off a novel. I am definitely looking forward to reading this novel once it gets translated to English. Oh how long do we have to wait… Lol. Plus, I want to know more because obvisously I knew Karakade can’t be a bad person after all. Or how can Khun P know about “loh sum pao”… So therefore, I am most excited about reading the novel. The last 3 episode to me was also very dearing, funny yet also sad because I cried so much when Khun P’s father had a dream about Por Si, and of course he passes away. When Khun P chanted to bring back Kaesurung and her finding out the Ruengrit is the reincarnation of Khun P. This drama stole my heart so hard, so hard it is better than Ten Miles of Peach Blossom, a chinese drama that also took a part of me away for quite awhile. Bhuppae Sunniwat in my opinion definitely out beated TMPB. Anywho, I hope to hear back from you as well and thanks for reading! 🙂 🙂
Hi vangkk! I’m sorry I’m just replying to you now, I’m so easily distracted. Know that I read all of the comments and smile a lot too while reading it, so thank you for taking the time to comment! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed BS, it’s such a great lakorn all around. Let’s hope we get a great one like this next time!
