How are you, dear readers? It’s been awhile since we had an open thread to discuss our well beings outside of this wonderful world of lakorns. In the past week me, along with residents of Washington, are suffering from smoke emanating from the wildfires of British Columbia. It happens to be one of our hottest summers (with long days of sunshine) since the 50’s, and yet, we can’t even see our blue skies. Last weekend was my last week of maternity leave and it seems like God didn’t even want me to enjoy my remaining days off. So I am back to work, commuting along thick grayness, where there used to be a few mountains or skyscrapers to enjoy. My kiddos are doing great, although one does not sleep, leaving me in a perpetual state of sleep deprivation. But he’s cute and I’m stocked on caffeine, it’s Seattle after all, you can’t drive five minutes without seeing a Starbucks.
I started thinking about my time and how I’ll allocate them between working, being a mom to two needy boys (by needy I mean toddler terrible twos and a three-month-old), a wife, and a semblance of “me” time. As lame as it may sound, “me” time usually means lakorn and writing time. The reality is that I cannot promise to write as much as I want – the desire is most certainly there, and I don’t want to quit on the blog altogether, so I hope to come back and write whenever I have time. The days of recapping may be over.. oh how I missed being able to go into details about each episodes!
At any rate, I hope everyone is doing well. I hope that we all stay healthy, physically and mentally. Please share with us what’s been going on in your life. And if you are good with everything, share with us what you’ve been watching. As you know, I’ve been tuning into LLSR. I’m not bitten by the addicting bug yet, I keep wondering when I’ll start to like these characters. But it’s only been week two, so there’s hope yet for the show to turn around and make me love it. I’ll be drinking wine this weekend as I revisit my youth at a twenty year reunion, and cheers to you, wherever you are.

I am past those days of toddler motherhood with only a 9 year old (others being 23 and 18) to my name. I don’t miss it I might later, but then I got the ‘grandkids’ possibly which is evidently all kinds of ‘golden’ according to my mom. She tells me all the time “The reason you let your kids live is for the grandchildren” lol. You can do it tho. Gawd didn’t just grant us ladies the key to giving life, but he gave us the strength to raise ’em up too.

Go go go Fia! You can do it! I really admire working moms. I can only imagine how difficult it could be. I don’t think I have the resilience for it, so I really awed by those who really live it. I really enjoy your writing and entries, and I am glad it is good for your “Me” time too. There are a lot of exciting lakorns coming, and I hope you get to have tine to relax and watch them. Hi Fia. I hope the sky will clear up for you and all of Washington state soon. I’m sure Mr. A will fibe you some “me” time. Here in the Washington DC area we’ve been getting lots of rain. I am sitting in my car right now writing to you because it’s storming and hoping lightning won’t strike me.
Two more weeks before school starts. We host a lot friends and families this summer so we didn’t do our usual summer getaway so the girls are a bit disappointed. Oh well right?
Since there wasn’t any lakorn that hold my interest so I started clicking. I came across “The Mask Singer” and boy that show blows me away!!! All the Mask singers are so good!!! They sing lots of well know songs both old and new. I love the interaction between all the judges as they try to guess who’s behind the mask. The two minute question round is so funny. If you get a chance, I hope you will check it out. I watched Season 2. Waiting for final episode to air where they will unmask the winner. I think we all know who it is.

Hi Fia the weather here (Trinidad & Tobago) is very temperamental right now. It’s either extreme heat or heavy showers. No grey lines. I’ve not been able to take in any Lakorns latley. It has been very hectic at work and all my ME time is carded for health care. I’ve got some illnesses that restrict me sometimes. Anyway, I’ll be going on vacation next Friday. So I’ve been a very busy worker bee trying to clear up my desk and notify clients that I’ll be out of office. It will only be for two weeks but it will be so worth it. I’m tired and in desperate need of a break. I need to get back into my lakorn groove. My watch list is quite long. But the main ones that I want to see are the Paragit Ruk Series and The Cupids.

I am 17 YEAR OLD and live in Sweden.Like you i am looking forward to every LLSR ep and i am watching many series lately too.My online classes starts next monday so i am not looking forward to my summer-break ending.

I hope you are doing well there; juggling motherhood, work and the precious me-time. Su su na ka!! I have just started LLSR as well. It’s still too early to know if I would be fan-girling over the couple/story even though I do love Nadech-Yaya pairing. It’s been a long time since I watched a good lakorn but every time I do, I would always drop by this blog. 😀 I remembered when I used to visit your blog back when I was still single and now I’m married and you have 2 kids. How time flies..!! I hope you keep this blog and update whenever you find the time. I just have this sense of nostalgia when i read your blog. Thank you for putting in words what you feel when watching lakorn and sharing snippets of your life. I know I probably leave 1 or 2 messages a year but I’d still want to thank you for being a lakorn buddy all these years. Many warm wishes to you. 😀

Congrats on your marriage Suzsuz! Thank you for always stopping by, it’s great to see your comment even a couple of times a year. Unfortunately I was not impressed by LLSR as the story progressed, it’s hard to root for a couple of spoiled brats. I sure hope you can find something you like – perhaps check out Hidden Love – not the most gorgeous couple, but an excellent storytelling. NY will reunite again in the Princess, but it’s a drama drama, so not all rainbows and butterflies. Although, GRGR had a little bit of everything and I still only remember how it gave me rainbows and butterflies.
