TGIF! It’s been awhile for an open thread but it gives us the opportunity to talk about random things, lakorn related or not. And since we’re gonna be random, might as well stare into this adorable and perfect face. I do miss James Ji in a lakorn and can’t wait for Buang Hong! ANYWAY. Let the rambling begin – I’ll be the first to start! See below 🙂
Things I’m excited about:
- It’s the weekend, duh. This week went by fast! I think I’ll take little man to the beach.
- Sai Lap Rak Puan will be out this Sunday, can’t wait to see Andrew and Ploy together. Andrew looks especially handsome in this. Initially I thought of Mr. and Mrs. Smith too, but I’m not sure if Ploy is a secret spy..
- Gotta catch the ending of Tayard Arsoon which is this Saturday (I’ve only seen the first few episodes, but want to see how it all ends).
- There’s a ton of new teasers out and other in progress lakorns to check out – Cupid Series (when will they ever air this), and really, a million other lakorns. SO MANY LAKORNS and so little time. But I’m not complaining.. just overwhelmed with all of the goodness.
- Then, need to watch Luk Mai Klai Ton ep 2.
Doubt I’ll get through my list this weekend, but hey, a girl can try right? What about you? What are you doing this weekend? What’s on top of mind and what are you stressed out about? Hope the adorable James Ji above will help make you feel relaxed this weekend.

I do miss Mr. James. I can’t wait for his lakorn to air so I can see Kim too. Talking about Kim, I also can’t wait for Mark and Yaya. I extremely can’t wait for Ploy and Andrew. All the teasers look so good and you can’t deny they look perfect together. Then thinking of Andrew makes me want to watch LMKT too. Such a chain reaction. Now I just need to find all the time to watch it. Have a great weekend.

Ha, a mention of one name always seems to spur the thought of another. Hope you’re doing something fun this weekend, but hey, watching lakorns is my definition of fun things too, so if that’s what you’re doing! Weekends for me also means eating yummy food.. hope we all get to eat nice things 😁

I work on Sunday so weekend for me is a little bit different , 3 years ago when I discover Korea drama my life turn upside down ( I watch drama before as any good Asian girl , but never addict to it ) I change my schedule to work 10 hours a day , 4 days a week to have 3 days off for drama addiction and last year when I stumble upon Thai lakorn 3 days off is no longer enough , right now any time people ask me what am I doing on weekend/holiday/day off there is only one answer : WATCH LAKORN , when my family tell me “don’t just sit in your room all day long in the summer , go out and get some fresh air instead” I bring my laptop to the backyard to at least change the scenery lol
I think I got lucky at my job cause my boss is the coolest , I been with him for 5 years already so he there to witness all the pre-addict and addicted period , we have an unspoken understanding that as long as I get all my work done on time he never say anything about me watching lakorn at work ( for research only of course )
boss : can you at least pretend to be subtle when you watching those soap opera at work ?
me : I did , you notice that I didn’t even wear headset right ?
boss : why would you need to hear it if you don’t even understand the language
me : yes , but the emotion in the tone is 30% of the enjoyment , I did try to be subtle
boss : how is it subtle if you sitting there crying in front of the computer ? one of the intern even ask if the job is that bad
me : fine , I’ll watch only romantic comedy from now on
boss : then please don’t try to crackle like a maniac neither , either way it just weird
me : you not the boss of me
boss : I am
me : uh yeah , sorry , love you ( made the Korea heart gesture then ran like hell )
enjoy your weekend everybody ,

Wow, you do have a very understanding boss to say the least! It’s so nice to have a professional and friendly work relationship with your boss! I totally agree about tone being part of the enjoyment of watching a drama. I mean, who wants to just read subtitles? Lol, silly man. Perhaps you can get him hooked too and you guys can be fangirl buddies!
Have a great weekend watching lakorns Selendrile!

I’m dreading a road trip to a funeral 4 hrs away with the inlaws. I’m still trying to persuade my husband if I can take our very active toddler to keep me company and entertained while there. If not, I’ll have to go through your lakorn recommendation list to keep myself sane. Good luck to me!

Ugh, I know the feeling. My boy is a beast, not Beastly like Suriyen, but geez louis he’s a busy boy. I don’t think he’s capable of sitting in one spot for a minute. I’m like, can’t they just read a book or something? Haha. Good luck with the road trip! Hope it’s a sunny day over there! Makes for a more pleasant drive. My in laws live about 3 hrs away and I’m totally putting off visiting. Maybe when he gets into cartoons and can watch a show on an ipad or something.

You can only keep them on the tablet for so long then they get bored and starts throwing mini tantrums. We’ve survived an 18 hours road trip back and forth to Mount Rushmore. Everyone called us crazy. lol But, we can’t live without our mischievous little guy. And as an update, we survived, again! 🙂

My son is coming back from camp this weekend so I have lots and lots of extra muddy laundry (it’s been very rainy here) which, luckily, can involve some extra tv time.

I hope the laundry wasn’t too severe for ya, great excuse to watch tv indeed.

She’s so young (16 yrs old ) the role she protray should be given to veteran but she nailed it. I’m impressed. It’s actually a good lakorn. Airing get everyday. Give it a try whose hasn’t seen it yet. Happy great weekend. I
