Best birthday present ever.. if I do say so myself. We are over the moon!
It’s been a busy last several weeks, but I must say that I’m ready for a new lakorn to knock my socks off. Can’t say that I’m sorry to see Plerng Chimplee end, or even Malee Rerngrabum and Suey Rai Sai Lub.
What are you watching/spazzing over?
I noticed that Pope Rak aired last week, starring Mark and Bella (two of the actors that I’ve grown to.. well.. feel indifferent towards.) But I’m looking forward to Suea with the beautiful Taya Rogers! Any thoughts on those two lakorns thus far?
I hope that you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving break and let’s finish off the rest of the year strong – and why not with a recapping project? Vote below!

I haven’t been spazzing much on any 2014 lakorns, since my bias is not onscreen lol….I’ve watched the first episode of Pope Ruk and it seems alright. I actually like the supporting actors more than the main leads, sorry. As for Seua, though it looks really good with the beautiful Taya Rogers, the hot Bank and the handsome Nike, I will not be tuning into it cuz I’m not too fond of Tiger (the animal) stories.
The only lakorn that has a bit of my interest is the newest weekend installment, Saam Bai Mai Tao with Preem Ranida and Smart Krissada, in which I watched the first episode and so far it’s pretty decent and a bit confusing since I don’t understand the language.

Oh a baby boy! WOOT WOOT! I heard during pregnancy you crave for sour stuff and according to my mum she couldn’t stop eating sour green mangoes LOL
Honestly there’s no lakorns that have interested me right now, so when I do feel like one I watch the old ones.
I’m currently obsessed and in love with ‘Sound of the Desert’, it’s a Chinese drama set in the ancient times and its honestly so fabulously good that in some scenes I have to stop and rewind to experience it all again! There’s also Pinochio which is a Korean drama that has also enraptured me. Seriously great acting, plot and the chemistry is off the roof! And if you have time, I definitely recommend you to check out We Got Married, a Korean variety show. There’s one couple, Jaerim and So Eun who I completely adore! It’s highly entertaining and EVERYTIME I watch them I’m either smiling like an idiot, cringing because they are so cheesy or squealing like a fool.

Song of the Desert fan right here as well! Eddie Peng as WeiWuji is too good to pass up on. The leads chemistry is crazy good as well. They have this intense, sizzling chemistry that has been lacking in recent dramas, worldwide. Although it isnt as well written as “Bu Bu Jing xin”, its totally a girl’s drama and spazz worthy.
Im not interested in any lakorn at the moment either. The next couple of batches isnt doing much for me either. Acutally it seem like the Thai lakorn buzz has been pretty quiet after Rising Sun. Looking forward for LomSonRuk and the Mafia Series to air.

Also, I’m thrilled you’re toying with recapping again. Nothing is being recapped at the moment so, nothing simulcast is catching my attention. There are some great options in the New Year that I am watching sub or no sub. However, if you like and pick up a project, I will certainly check it out!

Mine has been easy too. I didn’t understand all the mommy friends who complained about morning sickness because I didn’t have any. lol I am hoping for an easy delivery as this will be my first baby also. Good luck to you!

Re: Lakorns – Its funny how our preferences can change over time. You have become indifferent to Mark from being curious about him. I didn’t pay too much attention to him but I find myself slowing warming up to his performances though that could be something to do with Tawan Deard. I just watched the eng subtitled version and within lakorn contraints, I really, really liked it. I wish someone was re-capping or subtitling Pobruk as I have definitely warmed up to this production house after watching Khunchai Ronnaphi and Tawan Deard. I guess, I’ll have to catch Beyond Comparion 1 and 2 now as well :-D. They do have Chakrit in them afterall !
