A Personal Update

Dearest Readers,

Even as I am writing this, I cannot even believe it myself. My most sweetest, dearest dream has come true.

Mr.A and I are expecting!

After 11 years together, we are finally taking the next steps to starting a family. As some of you may know, I’m no spring chicken, in fact, I am considered “advanced maternal age,” even though I feel that I am in the prime of my life. But many Americans are waiting to get pregnant at a later age, so maybe I’m not all that unique.

Thank you for your continued support with this blog, with spazzing with me and at times, criticizing (at least constructively critiquing) the world of lakorns with me. It’s been my favorite hobby and a hobby I would rather not stop. However, this newest and greatest endeavor – pregnancy and motherhood – will have its fair share of responsibilities and commitment.

I have decided not to pick up any recapping projects for a long time, this blog will be dedicated to lakorn summaries and musings.. until, well until I can get my wits about me. Since this is my first child – maybe will be a one and done child – I’ve no sense of what will be required of me as a mother, a wife, having a career and at the same time, finding some peace for myself. But what I do know is that I am ecstatic and looking forward to the challenges ahead. I can’t wait to get started in April.
