Fall is here with a vengeance. Usually I try to stay out from the rain, but yesterday, due to a party scheduled for both indoor and outdoor festivities, I’ve never been wetter in my life. It’s both terrible, cold and fun at the same time. It’s one of those things I’ll file under, ‘never repeat, thank you very much.’
October, the month of silly and frightful things, is coming upon us tomorrow. What are you doing to anticipate October?
Lakorn-wise, Ton Rak Rim Rua has kissed us goodbye with the finale on Saturday, making way for our newest weekend installment, The Sixth Sense 2, which is really fitting, no? Very much in line with our Halloween anticipation. This fantasy lakorn has added two new cast members in the form of Top Jaron (Khunchai Ratchanon) and Film Rattapoom (Paen Rai Phai Rak) who will pair with our single ladies in the first installment, Kan and Kat. I was wondering if these two sidekicks will have their own story- so yay!
I’m watching it with one eye on the computer screen and one eye on the storm that’s brewing. It’s gusty, it’s rainy. It’s plain ole nasty day. Interestingly enough, my favorite couple so far in this part deux of Sixth Sense is Kan and Top’s character. He looks like a forest dweller, or deer hunter (if he were to be from America) with his big rig 4×4 and military attire. Due to his sister’s questionable demise (the investigators has determined her death an accident) Top believes the contrary, and wants them to re-open the investigation.
At any rate, Kan, our resident feisty with the natural abilities to hear ghosts, finds this big rig 4×4 parked rather rudely. She decides she wants to write a note to chastise this particular vehicle owner. Much to her chagrin, a man appears behind her and proceeds to agree what an a-hole move it was to block the whole walking way. The two mouth off on how rude and inconsiderate the jerk was, he even wants to help them move this truck too. So as the girls make way to their car, Kan suddenly fines the truck taking off, with the ‘helpful’ stranger behind the wheels. Ha. He backs the truck up and pointedly tosses her note to the ground, then he says, ‘looks like you don’t need to call and clear things up with him anymore.’ hahaha. Best line ever.
Film plays Park Jun Ji, a Korean superstar, and I’ll just leave it at that. I may not be watching Sixth Sense 2, but I’ll be watching for Top Jaron’s scenes! Totally missed him from Khunchai Ratchanon, and methinks I’ll like his snarky character very much. And it’s going to be one of those ‘I’ve no idea what’s going on in the story, but I really like Top.’ Hahaha.
So happy Sunday, happy Fall, and welcome October! I hope you will have a wonderful week ahead 🙂
*Watch his cut here!

He is simply amazing, isn’t he? I’m determined to have one of his paintings on my wall. After all, it pretty much depicts my city to a tee.

Thank you for your comments 🙂 I didn’t even finish SS1 so didn’t want to get into SS2 without knowing what’s going on. However, seeing that I’ve already delved into watching Top’s scene, it’s a moot point, isn’t it? Hee.
The weather is insane!

I guess when I say ‘I don’t understand what’s going on,’ I meant that I dropped it early on in S2, hee, no desire to go back. However, the eng subbed would be helpful for the readers, so thanks for sharing! (I don’t typically watch eng subbed btw…*wink. )

Kan is my favorite too! I was so happy that she was getting a love story in the second installment because I felt like they kind of glazed over her in the first season. So, I’ll be skimming and watching out for their scenes! Lol. Thanks for the quick translation so we could understand what was going on. =)

All Four Girls are great except one, Nacitang. For some reason, I don’t like her!

เนตรสิตางศุ์ or Nacitang are a bad cook in seasons one, I wonder if her cooking skill is improving. I remember in season one, when she cook something, her friends don’t wants to touch or eat her food. She is one immature cooking.

man, I wish you were watching this drama because I only understand about half of what they’re saying so I wish someone would recap the episodes. It is kind of hard to find lakorn recaps.

I believe it’s being subbed at two places: Viki (search under Sixth Sense 2) and Youtube (search under New Curvey channel.) Hope that helps!
