Evil Game Love Game has come to an end. Game over. Finito.
A highly anticipated, 21 episode lakorn starring Nadech Kukimiya and Urassaya Sperbund, encompassing the journey of an islander who falls in love with a stranger washed from the sea, she gets taken away from him which thereby forcing him to leave the comfort of his home and all that he knows, to find her.
But when he learns that their island days were all a game to her, he decided to wreak his own evil game and vengeance towards her, not knowing that her sister was the mastermind behind it all. Yet no matter how much he thinks his wife is being evil to him, or no matter how much pain he ends up projecting on himself, he has always and will always love her.
It is one of those lakorns where you’re on the hero’s side, whether it is team Saichon or team Charles- there’s no way you can be on Chompoopae’s side, unless you’re as dark and twisted as she is, and surely we’re not given enough substance to be on Nang Fah/Fahlada’s side- so it is team Saichon/Charles all the way.
Which leads us to the question: so who wins in this game of evil versus love?
In the end, love conquers all.
Take a look at Fah’s love towards her sister Chompoopae. After she discovered that her sister was responsible for all of her torment, she still forgave her and loved her. I’ve no idea why, but she does. Her unconditional love made Chompoopae realize her mistake and repents. It took a bullet (on Fah’s behalf) to make her realize that.
Dr.Wattana’s unchanging love towards Chompoopae was another eye roll. Unless you’re a parent, I don’t see how anyone can still love an evil, condemning B.
If only the message could be more realistic for Chompoopae. Her regret is too little too late for me. How can she have no repercussions after everything that she has done? She has admitted that in all of her life, she hated Fahlada and was only pretending to be nice, and has gone out of her way to torment and tear apart the loving duo. How did she get a happy ending? Whatever happened to karma? Despite it all, I understand why they ended it this way: Chompoopae is Fah’s dear sister. And Khun Charles wants Fah to be happy. So Chompoopae gets away with it all, and as a result Fah is happy.
The two sub-stories of Mami/James and Plernta/Sahat leaves more to be desired. They are so cute.
Lastly, Charles love for Fahlada, so steady and ever growing. I actually liked how in the end she didn’t get all of her memory back. It’s realistic and nurtures my romantic heart. Fahlada loved Charles and deep inside, she knows that Nang Fah loves Saichon too. Either way, she fell in love with the man he has become and will make new memories together- with the man he used to be.
At least all is not lost for Charles. Everything that he has endured in the past is worth it, since he has Fah in his arms again. And when he tells her that it doesn’t matter if she doesn’t remember- that they can make new memories together- I just, well, melt.
As Charles swings Fah in his arms and the credits roll, I’m both elated and wistful.
Glad for the happy ending, but hate to see them go. After all, they’re the best part about GRGR.
I shall wait with baited breath for their next collaboration.

I thought it was a good ending too even though I was hoping that she would remember, I know he said they would create new memories but the memories at Koh Min were ever so sweet! I too totally enjoyed the cuteness of Mami/James and Plernta/Sahat. Welcome back and thanks for writing this so fast, really enjoyed reading it (and everything else you write;).

Indeed, their time in Koh Min was the sweetest and it still holds dear in my heart. I shall always remember the innocent and sweet Nang Fah and Saichon, before overtaken by the dark and bitter realities. But I think, even if Fahlada gains all of her memory back, she can never be 100% Nang Fah as her life experiences has been soiled by reality. But it’s so nice to imagine right? Can’t we all go back to the days of beautiful Koh Min? I liked how towards the end, while Charles towel-washed Fahlada, he would tell her about their love story, and we would get flashbacks of their poignant moments in Koh Min. So bittersweet.

Thanks! I did like that Nang Fah did not get all her memories, but I was kind of sad because those memories were sweet. But they have the rest of their lives to create more memories together. Sad that everyone left Min Island though.

Speaking of Min Island, we didn’t get any closure from them.. only that they moved away due to a tsunami, and we are reunited with Mami but have no idea why she’s in BKK, aside from being the glue that ties the plot together.
Having shared moments of Saichon/NangFah’s life on the island, I feel so removed from what happened there after three years. So much has changed yet we get no closure. Boohoo.

Yes, now I can finally find the time to spazz out with you ladies here. I had been meaning to do so in the previous post, but I had been so caught up with everything and the finales episode. Anyways, enough of my babbling; I totally agree with you Fia. They had been apart for 3 years with so many changes and I also did not see much closure. I wanted something a little more from the ending. I wanted to see a behind back hug to show the closeness of their love and a kiss that was more than what they had. It didn’t had to be a passionate kiss, but at least a “press harder/real” peck on the lip to show the true chemistry of their lingering love. Although, I must say that during the sweet/vengeance revenge I loved their chemistry there, but still I wanted more. I do understand that their age was a problem. but however, their role in this lakorn was adult and it is only acting or themselves consider it as only “work”so I think that they shouldn’t of use the age to forbidden certain scenes especially when it is a romance general. Furthermore, to compare the sweet scenes from the island to the city I saw that the kisses in the island were more realistic than the city scenes. Therefore, that is why I was kind of disappointed with the ending scenes. However, who knows they might of filmed this scene before going onto the island scenes when they seemed to be more comfortable with one another. Indeed, I loved and fell in love with the characters and the storyline. Everything was just so satisfying and to have Khun Nadech playing the role of Khun Charles it was just a plus and heartthrobing. Also to have Khun Yaya be the only woman in Khun Saichon/Khun Charles heart was just a plus, plus and heart melting. Overall, I enjoyed every single episode of it even though there was times when I just want to jump in and do some bitch slapping to Khun Prae and just embrace the loving P’Mor and tell him to move on and forget about that psychotic and desperate woman. Though at times Khun Prae ruined my mood I was still able to giggle like a little girl, feel heartaches, and smile with joy along with the characters. And do still think and agree with you ladies that Khun Prae did not deserve to be forgiven for all the crazy psychotic things she did to everybody. Moreover, I just want to thanks you for having this wonderful blog and always keeping us update and letting us fans/viewers to spazz out. Much love and support ❤

What are we going to do after GRGR? I’m suffering from a withdrawal already, no more tender looks and longing from Khun Charles, no more evasive smiles from Fahlada, no more bitchy sneers from Prae (thank heavens), no more rescuing from P’Mor and not to mention, no more Plernta/Sahat and James/Mami’s adorable and funny scenes.. the list goes on and on. We’ve gotten ourselves in quite a situation.
I hope down the road we’ll have another lakorn to spazz over before Yadech’s next collaboration, because I’ve no idea when Torranee Nee Nee Krai Krong will air!

Hi everyone, new here but just like everyone else here’s my spazz time! Loved the movie probably one of the best written love stories with great actors/actresses! And I couldn’t agree more with the ending I was hoping for a little more closure like a more passionate kiss or some extra sweet scenes with them in the city. There were so much more of the sweet stuff in the beginning that I was hoping it would end jsut as sweet….make sense? Like maybe at the end Saichon/ Charles should’ve asked her to marry him again and have the wedding at the sea be the end…….lol just blabbing I just didn’t want it to end. The chemistry between Yaya and Nadech is phenominal they really made me fall in love with the character they portrayed. My favorite was Nang fah she was just so innocent and adorable!

I’m sad to see this series end, I can conjure up several dozen different events/scenes they could add on to prolong this even further haha. Let’s keep dreaming! I love Nang Fah because despite her name, her actions aren’t too angelic, whereas Fahlada is seriously like an angel. I much prefer the former. Can’t wait for Torranee Nee Nee Krai Krong, because you can bet your bottom dollar that this blog will be spazzing along another Yadech drama, heeh.

Oh yes can’t wait until April when Torranee Nee Nee Krai Krong airs! I had to go back and rewatch GRGR the first time I watched it I didn’t have a really bad heartbreak when Yasa first took Nang Fah from Saichon but when I watched it this time around my heart was torn to pieces man this movie just makes me go nuts! I wish it could be more like soap operas in the US where the story just goes on and on I can’t get sick of Yadech together! Oh and Ateam too they will be forever in my heart!
